@thor
Maybe because he expected this game to be more than it was, after listening to Bungie hyping it up for years and getting a game with 1/4 the content of any of their previous games, we feel disappointed.
Too much debt already, would rather spend my time in the field making money
You do know that Ubisoft aren't the developers... right?!?!
DAMN YOU 5 YEARS PROFFESIONAL EXPERIENCE!!! My arch nemesis of applying!
@Omega
Destiny is NOT an MMO, 26 people per sever is not qualifying enough of an MMO. Besides in each WoW expansion theirs YEARS worth of content. In Destiny you will literally be retreading the same 21 missions over and over again. And WoW works because even if the missions are somewhat samey each one has an interesting and in-depth story explained as to why you're doing it. In Destiny each and every single one of the 21 missions has little to no story to it. (More Below...
Oh that'd be perfectly understandable if a game in production for 5 years didn't have the anemic amount of content Destiny has. The Halo games have PLENTY of content in them to merit anything else being DLC. Destiny on the other hand feels like it's a DLCs worth of a game marked at full price
I live on the furthest end of the east coast and have a 90ms connection... what's your excuse?
Destiny is my already in between game from League of Legends and Killer Instinct so it largely depends if the DLC is good
Oh I understand that concept very well, thank you ver little. Regardless of what you thought of it the game was a blast. Now let me present a concept to you and maybe just maybe we'll get it through your head. Months after a games release if you didn't like it then, I'd figure you wouldn't like it now. So why the hell are you posting in a thread that clearly has no relevance to you?
Gee haven't heard that before...
@Shiriya
With Activision footing the bill and from the rumor that they already gave Bungie a spanking for the bad reviews, I doubt that looming presence is going away anytime soon.
@HanCilliers
I honestly don't think so, Destinys problems aren't necessarily in it's systems or it's design. I think it wants to be a large scale shooter where you take on a grand endeavor. The problem is though the pavement isn't even laid out ...
Agreed the game just feels shallow, I know it's not fair to compare games to one another but in terms of content GTA V had both a bigger total play are (without loading times might I add >_>) AND a very engaging, rich story.
Destiny just feels like a good concept but half baked on so many levels. Sure they got a 10 year plan, but if the base game is indicative of anything they'll be lucky if we buy even the first expansion.
Edit: Free content w...
Wow. That comment was almost as crazy as it was shallow.
Or because when the 360 got an update it took about a minute to download and apply. On the PS3 however...
That was the issue... not the frequency.
You clearly don't know Bungie very well at all do you?
You truly are a sad sad person.
Oh and by "natural" you mean an exclusively straight cast in a game? Cause you know in games where you meet hundreds of aliens, monsters, species, races, not a single one of them would ever be gay right? Real natural.
If this is the definition of "fluff" then why the heck are you so bothered about people wanting a simple option like that?
Seriously, why?
And on a another note, please channel your feelings about what others should and should not derive fulfillment from to the appropriate section, your damn self.
Wait... so a game of this scope isn't done after one year?
Color me surprised.
Plus Chris never really asks for more money. He puts up stretch goals. People throw the money at them. And on top of that you gotta realize just because they're getting more money does NOT mean the games is going to get made any quicker. In fact typically when you have more stuff to do things take more time, but maybe that's not how things work...
And you know this cauuuussssse?
