Oh, to the other guy. Nah man, it's not because I'm that self centered that I won't buy it on PC because I want it on PS3 only. I don't have a capable PC, and while mass effect could be awesome, I'm not going to fork out the few grand that I'd want to spend on building a new pc at this point in time. More chance of it coming to ps3 than me getting a sweet as PC.
I tried to sound as least fan boyish as possible, guess i failed.
I got a macbook, so it doesn't even support mass effect, and probably isn't powerful enough anyway. Yeah, I know we have our fair share of games coming too. But I hate missing out on anything that great. If I had to miss out on God of War... I can't even imagine.
I bought my PS3 for 1100 in Australia. Now, while I was willing to pay this because I understand the awesome value at the time, others that bought a ps2 a few years before its launch can't see that value. It sucks, but it is the truth.
Pretty much everyone in my year thinks the PS3 is incredible in looks and games but they don't want to fork out 700 for it when they paid 400 or less (that's the time when tons of aussies got their ps2s) for a system with 1000's of games.

I don't really like avatars... they look like they were designed for 10 year old girls, I've got nothing against the Xbox, but God those things loook queer! All the other features of live are awesome, all the avatars do is slow down the OS in my opinion.
If people like them though, that's cool, I respect that. But, for the people like me they could at least give people the option of having these c0ck magnets optional.
I agree with you buddy. I just can't see them dropping the price at the moment (without a slim or reduction of manufacturing costs) being profitable for them... I really want Sony to succeed and all, but I don't know what they can do. I hope and think they are doing well enough anyway... I just hope they keep the attitude they have right now for next generation. I don't want them moving over into Wii casual territory just to make a quick buck. Hmm... I'm sure they'll figure it out.
Going to buy VC soon! Over the past three days I've gotten assassins creed, Orange box and Heavenly sword. Beaten HS only, working on AC. Then I plan to buy Ninja gaiden sigma, Bioshock, dead space and Valkyria chronicles. Then I should be done for a while in games.
I left a lot of great games out of my collection I know, but I just didn't have the money... but now I get to go back and play all these great titles! So I'm really looking forward to it. I can't think of anything ...
Does anyone reckon we'll see Mass effect on the PS3? I've heard it's really good. I'm not going to get to play it unless it comes to the PS3, so I'd hate to miss out on it.
