I only had one disc install. Sunset overdrive and it didnt take that long maybe 30 minutes. I buy all my games digital and preload them or wait till they go on sale just because I dont want to have to wait the hours it takes to install the game.
With that being said the file sizes for xbox seem to be bigger. I got my ps4 this christmas and have barely touched my xbox since I played ori loved it and borderlands to continue my character.

Is anybody else amazed by Roach? Im pretty sure hes the most powerful creature in video game history. He can fly, he can teleport, yesterday I saw a level 30 cyclops hit him that kills geralt in 2 hits not even phase him. I am pretty sure the key to beating the wild hunt is roach, but roach is to good to even worry about peasant problems like that. Im waiting for the youtube video "chronicles of roach" to pop up million hits first day gauranteed.
Two completely different games. I liked exploring a little more in skyrim the world seemed a little bigger to me but its been years since I last played it. I seem to remember enjoying joining the guilds more than the main story. Crafting and alchemy seemed pointless other than enhancing your weapons with elemental damage. But I enjoyed the fighting until it was slash and kill in one hit. I lucked out and didnt encounter a game breaking glitch which I know people who did.

I agree. I gave up sitting 5 feet in front of my 50" tv to try and read the display. I could fight through it but with all the jitters geralt and his horse are experiencing I'm waiting for this patch to continue my journey as a witcher. I don't agree with his game control assessment it takes a little getting used to. But moving around in corners swimming trying to get on off the horse is annoying as hell. It's definitely to loose and I don't feel as in control in other games with just basic movement. But the combat system is fine once you get the hang of it, just after playing bloodborne the experience is a little underwhelming. put in about 4 hours just annoying frame rate issues for me here and there. Nothing game breaking just a nuissance sometimes when I start a fight and it jumps around.
Ya the day one patch is installed. Don't get me wrong it is an absolutely stunning game everything looks and and sounds perfect with minor lags in frame rate. For me it usually happens as soon as I encounter an enemy or out of a cutscene definitely not game breaking. Just a nuissance. I don't know if a patch can fix it, just due to the size of the game it's incredibly massive.
I hope I'm able to enjoy the combat eventually once I ability up more.
Playing on the ps4 first time playing the series and unfortunately I just don't like the controls. I loved souls bloodborne skyrim and even enjoy assassins creed games. The controls just seem to loose to me. I'm going to stick with it because the story and environment got me in just don't know how long it will keep my interest.

No they make it easy enough to beat it. People can jump in and help at any time. The game is to frustrating though for some people. You can walk down the same path three times not die but then you get cocky someone kills you that you normally kill instantly. And its at those point's I rage quit after exploring a new area once I figure out where to go and a group of 4 I think I can take head on that i have taken on get me. I Will start out by saying I love this game. Best game released this gen by far and away. I only played through ds2. So I don't know what the other games were about. but bloodborne is just a better game end of story. The mechanics and graphics are better. The combat is so much better, especially starting off.
I have however read a lot of comments from purists who miss all the weapons and gear. Part of the fun of the souls games was finding all the gear through the crazy difficult...

I'm not doubting people liking the story, gameplay. But last night I couldn't watch more than 15 minutes of the game on twitch. It looked so repetitive and boring. Sneaking behind enemies pressing triangle watch a cutscene walk for a minute cutscene oh press l2 and triangle to throw a smoke grenade in a room to watch a cutscene. This game just doesn't seem like it's worth 60 dollars to me. No replay value, 7-8 hour campaign. I'm way more excited about bloodborne that game will actually challenge me and get me 40+ hours of quality gameplay.
