That I what I said last gen. MS was asleep at the wheel in the last 2 years of the 360.
Thought they were gearing up for a monster showing this gen.
They actually may have put Sony to sleep if they did that because 360 had quite a momentum.
But alas.. it was not to be.

Xbox shouldn't even be in the conversation when it comes to sales in Japan.
Nintendo has always innovated. Many are blind because they manage to do so withing the confines of it's more famous properties.
Mario games all by themselves almost always innovated. Yes.. it's Mario again but the actual gameplay changes quite a lot from entry to entry.

Indies is acceptable if they are exclusive to Nintendo. Otherwise. Indies it is.
You will award for most ignorant comment. The entire gaming industry began as Indie. And most developers do so as well. If they did not exist then we would not have games to play. Innovation would cease and we would be stuck with whatever the Giants wish to feed us.
I enjoy well developed games. Big productions etc.. but I wouldn't dismiss Indies so easily.

Many did not take his statements for what they are. SP not having an impact as far as the platform holder is concerned.
This is from their perspective. From the consumer/gamer perspective this isn't as impactful. I don't have any solid numbers but I will start by saying 50% of the market plays single player games. Whoever wants to chime in with actuals can do so at any time.
That said... Stating that Single Player games...
Super Powers will make this game into something other than what it has been portrayed to be so far.
Very little is known but I am not getting that type of vibe from this.
