This move will improve their customer service. I'm sure that some people will try and make this move by MS negative, but thats gonna be pretty hard to sell when they have only improved over their previous warrenty.
For this game and Mass Effect. From what i have seen of these two games they are comming along and looking very good.

If it had more games, then i would feel more comfortable buying it for a cheap blu-ray player. But most of the games are on the 360 also so i will hold off a while longer before i make my purchase
Nobody who has a premium 360 has to buy this. For $70 more people will have the choice of a black 360 with larger HD and HDMI support. You can get the premium 360 everywhere for less than the suggested $399 anyway. You pay more you get more, isnt that the way the PS3 skew are also?
The question of 1080p support via component depends on your tv. Some tv's will accept it via component such as my samsung lcd, and other won't. I know that Sony TV's do not allow 1080p via component connections, but im not sure about other brands.
I have noticed that people with few bubbles have really nothing valuable or usefull to say. Secondly the fact that MS will have a new skew has nothing to do with the other scews because its a different price point dirrected at the high end gamer with the latest HD TV's. Some of the people commenting here make is sound like everyone has to go out and replace their 360's, its rediculous. The fact that this is going to be black is a major selling point for me. I have wanted a black 360 since it launched. I think they should give you selection of 3 colors white, black or silver to match many of your other components.
There is no way broadband will give you enough bandwidth to run IPTV especially for any HD content. My cable company offers fiber connections but I dont even wanna ask them how much it costs.
I don't like final fantasy either.
The vertical sync was terrible on that video. I would hope that that would be fixed before they release this game or someone might have a seizure.
I Hope its something new and not the same as everything from GTA 3 on. Was like playing GTA 3 over and over with new characters, location and vehicles. God i hope IV contains something new and original.

You mean Sony pays attention to where it can make money to maintain its survival. You think they continue to support the ps2 because they care so much about their customers? Don't make me luagh, I think its more like to recoup losses from the PS3 and keep the company from going bankrupt.
Thats about the same amount of time the ps2's graphics have been obsolete. Even compared to the original xbox they were garbage. Even some of the great games it has, I can't bare to play them especially on a large TV.
I would gladly buy the new black 360 to replace the one i have. Had to put on GOW skinz to get it to match my other black equiptment better.
P.S. Piano Gloss Black is definatly not 80's looking
I personally hate playing games split screen. As long as i have the option to play coop over live with the ability to talk over the mic, its just like your sitting right next to each other with full screens. Considering some people dont have live the split screen option should still be there. As far as to why some people prefer the split screen over live is beyond me.
Are not up to my standards for what i expect from the 360. If the game looks like this it will be very disapointed.
Why do so many people whine and complain about companies releasing products with enhancements and or new features? Every company does this including MS, Sony and Nintendo. How many different N64's did nintendo launch over its lifetime? How about the PS2 Slimline? What about when they reduce the size of the chips and circuitry in electronics to make them run more efficiently? Who is to say a company has to make a product the same way its entire life cycle because you bought it early on? ...
