it's not hard to accept, we all accept it gleefully, why? because Red Dead Redemption has crap graphics on both systems. There are at least 20 games on each system that look better than it. When comparing graphics, you compare the top graphics to the top graphics, not the middle of the road to the same middle of the road title. Compare Gears of War 2 to Killzone 2 and see where that gets you.

If you've paid any attention for any time during this whole generation, you...

actually, the problem was blueray, not bluetooth, but both are a good point.

Bluray matters because, you don't have to play games to use bluray, you just have to want to watch movies.

Bluetooth matters because PS3 is compatible with any bluetooth headset, mouse, keyboard or any other input device.

Voice chat on all the games I've played has worked perfectly fine. I have no problem on MAG, UC2 or Killzone 2. This claim that it's ga...

Perhaps I shouldn't have used the word staging then, but putting up pre-recorded stuff and then claiming that it's a live demo is just wrong.

What's so bad about the graphics now? Sure they aren't GT5 graphics, but they're much better than a lot of games out now, no worse than GTAIV or its DLC.

Not true at all. Things frequently go wrong at Sony and Nintendo conferences. There was an obvious glitch during the presentation of Twisted Metal, and it was clear that Sorcery was responsive to the actions of the guy on stage. It has become a widespread joke that Miyamoto was not able to play his own Zelda game on stage, fortunately journalists on the gameroom floor were more adept. Moreover, that Natal was staged is not to say that all of the MS press conference was staged. The footage the...

Kinect is likely to cost a ton and you could hardly call it a success. Most people who were going to buy an Xbox because of a Halo game have already done so, GT5 on the other hand has an appeal to an untapped demographic for PS3. There hasn't been a 360 price drop, just an upgraded model. The key to the success of PS3 slim was that you get a new PS3 at a new price. People who couldn't afford $400 suddenly could afford to pay $300. The new Xbox is still $300, the price Xbox was already...

The only sources we have are 1up, Kotaku, IGN, Games Radar, Eurogamer, Gamespot, Gametrailers the MS Conference itself (I watched the whole thing, nothing but casual garbage except 1 cool looking dance game, and that looked staged since the people already choreographed the dance), the list goes on and on. You don't have to even know what a PS3 is in order to think there's something fishy with Natal. It's not like we're relying just on what other people say, we, and you, can se...

I really couldn't care less cause I'll get to have both, and the better console version of Rage no less.

But lets be real, the two games have very different graphical styles so it's not really a fair comparison. Rage will be amazing though, and definitely among the best graphics on PS3, though likely not the absolute best. It will probably the best graphics on PS3 of any multi-platform ga...

Because the PS3 already supports voice commands. Voice command is not something that is actually implemented as a result of having Kinect or Move, it's something that both game consoles were capable of long before either was announced. Not only that, the PSEye, which is necessary for the Move system to work has a microphone. Any company that wants to incorporate voice commands in their games can just program them in, take a look at End War. Move can track full body movements too, but not ...

I agree, move will make RTS on consoles about a million times better, but for something like starcraft in particular, a lot of the game require hot keys which require a full key board. Truth is, they could do Starcraft on PS3 with a mouse and keyboard set up. Sony really should have pushed for more PC games to come to PS3 with mouse and keyboard as an option.

Sony isn't one person. It's a lot of people with different opinions. Depending on the success of 3DS, sony will likely implement it in PSP2. Truth is though, it doesn't seem strange to put it on a handheld because the screen is so small. The idea of 3D is that it's on a big screen and it pops out to surround you. Interestingly though, I hear 3DS seems to fall back, not pop out, which seems like something that could work well.

Agreed, everything except for the fitness video was fake, and the fitness video was laggy. But, it did not misread her movements left to right, that was a projector issue. If you play the game with the screen in front of you, it mirrors your movements, but because it was projected behind her, it showed them from a reversed image. Just saying, that one thing had nothing to do with any actual error on the part of the Kinect device. Kinect is still gimmicky and unproven.

You're clearly being willfully ignorant here. That website more than likely has a poor translation, as the japanese and english websites are EXACTLY the same. Japanese site says, just as the US site says, that there won't be a DETAILED interior view. Not that there won't be any interior view.

I believe it's because they expect their primary target audiences, Kids and Casuals, to be dumb enough to do that. If you're not tech savvy, it's not surprising that you might just assume that a 3DS game will work in a DS.

It's possible that in last minute talks, valve and Sony cut a huge deal which made it so that everything Valve had to say at their conference was radically changed. That almost certainly seems to be the case. Initially valve might have had a lot to say about a number of different and developments, but when they decided that they would work with Sony, they figured they had a lot of reconsidering to do about what they were going to announce in the first place, and that's why they cancel...

We just post the articles, the sites write them. This is a serious issue with the Kinect technology that consumers should be made aware of it. It's not hateful to tell the truth.

I mean really, what game does Activision publish that you can't do without, aside from Blizzard games?

That's what valve said, not us.

That's only in 3D, in 2D the game can still run at 1080p @ 60fps. No one ever said it would be 1080p @ 60fps AND in 3D. Even those with 3D tvs don't have to run the game in 3D.

The game will probably be critical of christianity, not in favor of it, but even then it would only be so allegorically and not openly.

When Kojima says it challenges a taboo and may force him to leave the industry, that doesn't necessarily imply that it has anything to do with religion but more so politics or about what games are.

The author of this article is just desperate for attention, his theory has no basis outside of his ridiculous wild fantasy. M...
