Microsoft refuses to license bluray because they actually aren't allowed to. Bluray runs on java.That's the problem. Microsoft isn't allowed to incorporate it into their OS. The next xbox will NOT have bluray. Windows will not support bluray either. Pesky lawsuits.

This only affects movies encoded with cinavia, and its new as well. This only affects new movies in cinemas and airplanes etc. So if you copied the sound from the movie at the theater, it wont play on your ps3/bluray player. Not all movies are encoded with cinavia. No movies before 2010 are encoded with cinavia.Blurays and dvd's are not currently protected by cinavia.You might run into problems with internet cam movies or movies that get the sound from a cam/theater hearing aid device.
Actually , you cant do that. It doesn't matter if you trans-code, stream, copy or anything. You cant remove the watermark this way.
Actually, the idea is ingenious. They hide the audiomark around 60hz and even if you filter out that frequency it detects the probable loss of the watermark and STILL wont play.
