p4's with 256, 512 , 1gig,2 gigs and I can honestly say windows 7 runs better than xp with any of those configs. The operating system seems to actually be an improvement. BTW....I hate all things Microsoft.(well, most now)
To the point, Windows 7 will run fine (albeit not as fast) on less than 1 gig.

Did Gabe Newell buy square or something? Why absolutely NO love for the ps3??? They ignore us completely. They make us one game and then sell it off to Microsoft whilst making us wait for them to squeeze it on 5 dvd's for a simultaneous release. Screw SQUARE. I wont be buying anything from them.
Microsoft is NOT making friends with developers. They sell of all their first party studios: Microsoft sport game studios, Ensemble studios, flight simulator studio, BUNGIE, Halo wars studio , aces game studios , fasa studios, carbonated games, the founders of rare were fired after being bought out, epic studios(creators of gears) and at least 4 more studios I cant recollect off hand. Does this sound like game making to you? TRUTH:MICROSOFT IS LOSING ALL DEVELOPER SUPPORT.

Speaking from experience, (2 years stationed in Okinawa) I can assure you that Japan loves anything that comes from the US , with one exception....craptronics. They know a crap product when they see it, and they will refuse to buy it. The Japanese have a very Strong feeling about the xbox and that feeling is that it will break. Justifiable if you ask me.

Microsoft has sold off or disassembled almost all of its first party studios and is relying all on third party support.
