Since the Japanese PS3 version is almost finish. There is little reason to delay the Jap version to its ensure match the graphic to XBOX360 spec/level. Since they haven't start working on it yet or still in early state.
And I am quite sure they will only localize the US/EU version, not changing spec for better/worse to make them comparable to the XBOX360 version. So I expect them to be 100% identical to the Jap version in term of graphics etc.
I expect the Jap versio...
That is why we import games, no?
I prefer they fix the transport network first. Being cramped like sardines in the morning rush and afternoon rush is not fun.
Australia is in pacific region, mate. Downunder.
Fallout 3 is considerably less popular to GTA4. If GTA4 imports can get through, I have no doubt Fallout 3 imports can get through easily. There is no way customer will check 1million+ parcels coming through the custom just for Fallout 3.
They will be looking for illegal substances. DVD is not a concern for them.
First, it is bloody expensive, things can retail two times the price in US.
Second, all those censorship BS...
Thanks!
However when hard measurements exist, like in actual computing speed, with a benchmark, one can hardly argue otherwise. For example in the past few years AMD CPUs cannot compete in term of processing power against Intel Core2Duo processor. The general consensus accepts that Core2Duo processor is faster than AMD CPUs.
You cannot apply this of course where no hard measurements exist (criteria), like who is prettier, is abortion morally wrong and so on.
Again my argumen...
I play Mass Effect recently hence why it is still fresh in my memory. While I did play GTA4 as well, it is hard to compare GTA4 and MGS4 since GTA4 is about the scope, i.e. driving around a big city, while MGS4 actions are more focused and contained. No favoritism there.
While I do concede that no review will be 100% objective, when criteria where you based your review on clearly exist and well defined, there should be little deviation from general consensus. The objective part o...
Nuff said...
They really need better maps. All the maps are just like paintball maps i.e. square. They need something that allow the teams to push and hold.
For example, the first level of MGS4 is perfect for this. Long alleyway with plenty of hiding places and most importantly choke points. Teams can defend and push each other trying to occupy certain territories.
They have hosted servers. That's the only reason. Peer to Peer sucks and so completely unreliable.
In that game you will feel more helpless than when you re in Silent Hill...
Look at the process, you havent actually turn on the system yet (as in the CPU and GPU etc). You just flick the power switch at the back on. There is no way this will overheat the CPU or GPU as they are not doing anything or even on yet.
Misleading and inaccurate title.
"No one attend", yet we can see from the photos at least a dozen or so people in them. Even the article mentioned few people were there.
Something like CELL processor would be cool. It has the power of normal processor, 3D and etc. Want more power? Add another CELL. And so on.
That in fact is the reason why PC gaming is dying. A million people or more playing CSS (DODS or etc) and WOW, mean less people buying other games.
And CSS is basically 2-3 years old and you bought it once and never have to pay a cent to play it. Hence, the developer is not making a dime at all, if you stick playing it for 2-3 years. I know some people who play DODs exclusively every night, with little time for something else.
While WOW, you have to pay subscription...
You are playing at least 2-3 years old game, could be longer (not familiar with that mod, but CSS was released ages ago). You are not putting a dime to the developer pocket, since you are not buying a new game at all.
Yah, I do agree. I guess it is their culture. It is the game made by Japanese and targeted to Japanese in the first place (Japan is their primary market). I enjoy both worlds!
From the brief, they seem haven't started working on the XBOX360 version. It is entirely possible to complete the XBOX360 version let's say before winter 2009, but it will be a challenge. If they can't complete it by winter 2009, then they will either delay the PS3 version for US/EU or release them first.
