How would you be saving money by delaying you're purchase? These consoles will not get a price cut for a long time.
It's biggest problem is the audience it is aimed at doesn't know it exists, my two nephews came over the other day and we played Lego City and they both said "where did you get that weird looking controller for the wii" but they both loved it.
