Am I the only one excited to see not only the games but the TV and entertainment offerings from both Sony and MS?? I use play TV all the time on PS3 and FOXTEL on my Xbox as well as play the crap out of games on them.
More features surely could not be a bad thing....

If Microsoft is keeping a Pay-for-online model for Gold, I hope they really give better bang for your dollar. Right now I don't feel I am getting enough for what I pay.
I am also paying for PS+ and i feel like I'm definitely getting my monies worth with that service. Especially now that Plus is on my Vita as well under the one subscription.
Hopefully Plus has made Microsoft rethink their strategy for Gold.
It still seems to be a big deal apparently. I was at the IGN Black Beta Event for Halo 4 with my friend. We both made it on the Xbox Video for it with our gamertags during an interview. She got over 50 friend requests over the next two days after it was on youtube and the Xbox dashboard. I had about 4 or 5.

SSDs will only really help load times anyway, they do not add any FPS benefit over a standard HDD in all tests I've read.
SSDs are great sure but I don't think its a gaming requirement however I would not build a new computer without one.
About time they didn't just port the PS2 version over like they've done in the past.

Also controllers won't have a hard time playing these types of ARPGS, remember Champions of Norrath on PS2? That was a great game and controlled very well!

Don't think it has so much to do with combating piracy with console games. It is more the issue of developers not getting income from the sale of pre owned games.
It is a bit of a catch 22 however. I believe that developers should get paid for all games sold for their hard work so they can continue to make more games for us. With out them, what do we have?

I agree, 4/10 is piss weak and very harsh on this game. When people also complain that combat is repetitive. have they not played champions of norrath??! That game was amazing and you are practically mashing the attack button, but the game was fun as hell, and that's what most dungeon crawlers are like.

I would prefer turn 10 throw away most of the manufacturers data. In the interview he says most of that data is from thier marketing departments, not engineers, akin to specs you'd get at a Motorshow from a dealer.
I'd rather them test the cars and find out themselves what it can do.

Whilst Space Marine is a 3rd Person Shooter, it is NOT a Gears 3 Clone. I don't recall using ANY cover in SM. Its actually rather polished too.

Just because the game isn't out, doesn't mean Drjft hasn't played SM. The game has been playable at industry events the last few weeks. It was playable in Melbourne, Australia at a JB hifi event.
After playing this a few hours, I must say I freakin love it. Haven't pissed myself laughin at a game in ages. I'm still betting on Duke, not the haters. Good old school fun.
I kind of expected articles like this to appear. It makes me laugh actually. I found the demo to be fun, alot of fun. When I was playing I wasn't thinking about jaggies, or how the animation is aparently poor when looking at yourself in the mirror.
I was having too much fun blowing shit up with pipe bombs and reliving a classic theme.
I got to play this for a few hours at a small event EA held in Sydney a few nights ago. I was pretty impressed, the art style and manacing dark twist is awesome.

To be honest I expected nothing less. This game was looking sensational from the first trailer they released.
Diablo 3 was fun for a little while but c'mon mate don't kid yourself. It is not better than all those games combined.
