Regardless of where you stand on the matter, it is still extremely interesting to watch. The industry is throwing huge sums of money around to grab established talent. Given the state of all things, it makes sense but what will all this consolidation mean to consumer is most interesting.

It is certainly easier in my opinion. Similar mechanics but far less complex in overall scope and enemy design/variation. Bosses can give you a little trouble as you learn the move sets but no more than any other game design. If you enjoy the general structure and dark theme of the souls games I'd definitely recommend giving it a go. Especially for free.

Definitely hard to say at this point and delays are not a good sign. This, like nearly all games these days, should be a wait and see. Especially considering the cost of brand new games. Glad you liked it though and I hope it turns out great.

Not terrible by any means but it didn't blow my socks off. Interesting setting and story idea though and I agree the chatter can be off putting. The real question is how it lands as a whole package? Does the combat really become an interesting dance of chaining/combos, is the world built out enough to keep exploration interesting? These are the things that matter and we can't get a sense of those in a 30 minute custom built demo.
