best multiplayer goes to the ps3 in 2008? give me a break. there's not a chance in the world that sony or nintendo catch microsoft on multiplayer/online support. the most we can hope for is that sony's home does well - enough so that microsoft is forced to decrease prices for live or make it entirely free (which is a long shot).
I can't wait for the old generation of consoles to become non-existant. the xbox 360's newer generation models, the 2nd and 3rd ones have virtually no failure that isn't well inside the industry given standard of mechanical failure. as soon as all of the xbox 360s that were released to market on launch date die out, there will be no more of these lame ass threads.
70% - even 60% is blown WAY out of proportion. if you take the number of consoles that have red ringed vs. the total number of consoles shipped to market you'd find it is maybe, MAYBE, around 15%. it just so happens that that percentage of consoles happens to fall into one generation of console, the oldest one.
