Dear Crytek you probably "forget" that there's so many mods for the pc version out there, that transform the game into a photorealistic fest. With new particle effects and high res textures.

Well people does not see that from the start. All they know is that they wont have to upgrade for at least 5 years. Not only that, but developers squeeze out every bit of power, out of any console down the line.
Plus, consoles are plug n play. No driver problems, no incompatibilities of any sort, not to mention a nice healthy multi-player ecosystem.
When consoles will be able to perform 1080p@60fps 16x aa/af and all that in 3D consider PC dead. Which i predict this will happen 2014-1015 when PS4 and Xbox 720 get released.

I love every bit of tech i own, but since i have a very powerful pc (3x580gtx) i'll be playing this at 1080p everything max and 3D. Nice to have choices.
Don't know but for some reason own all/love all. PC and consoles. Hell i even play with my Amiga/Atari ST machines sometimes.
Me too. I've already donated the highest sum through psn.
