What is absurd is to think generally a game should deserve a certain score.....
No game deserves a certain score, that is up to the individual reviewer to score the game based on his critique and thoughts.
I am disagreeing not because of what score you would give it, rather because you think a game deserves a certain baseline score which it does not.

Destiny has nowhere near the longevity necessary to survive or sell on PC.
PC gamers tend to enjoy long lasting experiences and this game would not surive when people are used to proper full fledged MMOs with content that can take months to complete.
Destiny, Watchdogs & Titanfall
They are all contenders for me and I did not even bother with Watchdogs it looked so bad.

He is like most other big publications a complete rat and a sellout! but sessler is a special kind of hack. No wonder he fled the review scene after the flak curtain from that shamefur dispray sellout review.
no surprise that Rev3 games channel had Titanfall adverts on it 24/7, Destiny is a better game than Titanfail IMO as well, At least Destiny would last more than a week, Titanfall lasted me a few days, hate myself for ever giving EA money for that garbage.
People are trying to say those criticising Destiny only played the BETA and now they did not play it enough to form a proper opinion?

- what other loot there would be
- How much content there was going to be
- What the overall story and narrative was like
- What other enemies there were
- What the other zones were like
- What the dialogue and voice actin...
Stop trying to find correlations between review scores, that pisses me off and it is completely illogical.
Id really love to be told how Destiny Innovated when it was basically borderlands with less interesting characters/ narrative, less interesting loot coupled with a sci fi aesthetic.

You can only optimise so much for limited hardware.
Any developer worth their salt also optimises for the PC so there is that and not to worry not everyone who devs for the PC is as incompetent as Ubisoft.
And being a linear game helps uncharted, When a game is linear on PC it looks way ahead of its time.

I would say be wary of even your own hype, many a game I have looked at looks amazing then it releases and I do not enjoy it anywhere near as much as I thought I would.
Shadow of Mordor looks like the sleeper hit of the year, it looks like it could pull an arkham with LOTR as it has a solid dev and publisher, seems like a good revenge tale and has great voice actors.
However it pays to be cautious and I am trying to remain so.

It is sad though when they are the best games but the start of generations have always been rough. There will be great system selling games but when? and who will have them?

Titanfall, Destiny & Watchdogs
The holy trinity of overhyped disappointing games.
PS4 fans are diligently defending their purchases of Destiny like it was an exclusive or their own child.
Xbox fans did the same with Titanfall which was do boring after 1 or 2 days you had seen it all.
Watchdogs....the less said about that one the better and I am glad there was not a rallied defence for it.
