>60fps is already good reason enough to wait them fixing PC version.

Comparing this game to X series sounds quite far-fetched. X games are totally different and can't see they should have been like this game. They are excellent as they are now.

Unfortunately PC version is still totally broken - it is not just performance but textures, graphical effects, etc. We need to wait Rocksteady fixes the game and then lets make another comparison.

Yep, at least the textures are still broken on PC version and it is lacking of ambient occlusion, etc.

To me his reasons sounds very weak:
"I don't think most humans want to look stupid"
"they don't want to isolate themselves from the world"
"I mean, if someone's sneaking up behind me with a baseball bat"
...

After playing Elite: Dangerous with outdated Oculus DK2 I'm totally convinced about VR - and I don't even like Elite: Dangerous, but the experience was still amazing.

Doesn't matter - it is still Rocksteady's and WB's job to make sure the quality on top level.

The only winners so far are PC gamers / customers.

We still need to see more benchmarks. There are some very strong NVIDIA GTX 980 Ti as well: http://www.guru3d.com/artic...

What's wrong with doing great hardware and pushing PC gaming forward as a whole?

I don't see any problem complaining about graphics. People has high expectations these days and for a good reasons. Of course it doesn't mean people couldn't still enjoy the game even if they express their disappointments.

The graphics in the trailer is mediocre if even that. There is not reason to praise the graphics.

Bethesda has bigger problems than graphics. I'm mostly worried about NPCs, stories, etc. Many recent cRPGs has raised the bar ...

I don't trust Bethesda at all. S.T.A.L.K.E.R, Wasteland 2 and The Witcher 3 are much better what comes to stories and atmosphere.

NPCs in Bethesdas games are just weak, no personalities at all.

Console gamers usually says that exclusives are important to have and "a great thing" so I guess they don't mind if they are not able to play this game.

I don't like exclusives unless there are technical or financial issues behind them.

Still hesitating between this card and "Radeon Fury". Rumors says Radeon Fury will be released in June 24th.

GTX 980 Ti benchmarks (fake?): http://videocardz.com/55739...

Good times for PC gamers especially when new graphics APIs (Vulkan and DX12) are going to be released soon.

That's right but I guess that's why Valve is pushing SDL forward.

> Vulkan will likely be less supported by PC hardware
> manufacturers as well

Hmmh, why is that?

PC gaming is changing. It is not only about Windows anymore.

*ups* ... Vulkan doesn't seem to be too popular here. Unfortunately people doesn't tell why they prefer proprietary one company technology over open cross-platform technology.

I hope DX12 is not going anywhere but game developers would start to use Vulkan instead. It definitely can't beat DX12 hype/PR ...

Sounds like you are talking about PC gaming. Things are much better there. All games still available from 30 years back, emulators to play console games, etc.

Many genres are still doing strong RTS, strategy, 4X, simulation and many others. The genres that has been a bit less active has made comeback: cRPG, point-and-click adventures, etc.

AAA games are a bit mess. They are designed for consoles and PC is clearly not the main target - it shows and feels.

Is there any JRPGs designed for adults?

It is good to hear they are going to make more tuning possible. Hopefully they will enable all features that were still in present in 2014.

PC has graphics settings so gamers are able to choose the one for their gaming rig. If one chooses to buy a weaker rig for gaming he has to use lower settings - that's how PC gaming has been working decades already.

Even if only 1% can use the highest graphical settings _today_ next year the situation is different alr...

On PC it doesn't matter if you are able to play with ultra-settings *today*. If you want to get the best possible experience you buy a hardware that provides it or otherwise you use lower settings. Once you buy a better hardware you can start to play games with the better quality/graphical fidelity.

The Witcher 3 runs console level graphics on 1080@60 even with almost the most weakest dGPU but gamers who has a gaming PC doesn't get much benefit at all unlike CDPR mate...

That's why PC games has settings. Those gamers who has chosen to use weaker machine for gaming are able to use lower settings.
