The guy isn't entitled to an opinion? If he feels it's the best multiplayer that's HIS opinion, no need to attack him.

Many are melodramatic like the service is a failure, and they are all stating the same things. I agree that all they need to do is "fix the damn prices" but making it seem like a failure of a service because of it is flame bate, and obviously people don't mind. Plus they are all duplicating the same argument, which peo...
But a thousand similar PSNow doomed articles are ok with you?
It will probably be similar to PVZ on X1 coming to PS4.
I guess this counts as a PS4 exclusive right Truefan? I know how much you love those.
PS Now is about convenience, and hopefully, value, that is the selling point, just like Netflix. Of course you could go buy all the games used for cheap, you could buy Netflix movies exactly the same way. PS Now's library will grow just like it already has drastically.
I see no reason why Sony could charge $15 - $20 and not make profit, even if it is a relatively smallish profit in the beginning. There is no doubt in my mind this service could be a hit.
Why not give people a week or a few days free to try it? That would help draw interest.
lol lag, like you would know. Most articles I read on it stated little to NO lag. But I am sure you would just love it to fail judging by your comment history. yikes.
I think the pricing and content are the only two things that will dictate whether or not it succeeds. And the content is growing drastically. I feel prices will be worked out, they already mentioned a subscription model many times in the past and once a few days ago. They just need to understand their current pr...
$14.99 monthly or $59.99 yearly seems fair to me, and they would be making enough on the service to provide good content.
And why do those brick and mortar stores go out of business? The value of Netflix is so much better than going to a video rental store and paying 4 dollars for a movie rental, same thing will apply for game streaming. Sony wants to compete with game rental stores by charging as much or worse? That is not a good look for them.
My games are better than your games! Is this what N4G is all about? Funny.
Agreed, They have to do a monthly fee and forget the ridiculous "rental" fees. I think PSNow could be an absolute hit based on the increasing content, but they are insane and the publishers are insane if they think many people will buy into those pricing options.
Side note - aren't betas supposed to be free? Why is this thing in "open beta" yet they are charging? Are they trying to find out how many suckers will pay those prices? Seriously, I feel lik...
They probably felt that a streaming service for ONE publisher was the part of the deal that was bad with EA. I like the idea of PSNow much more, but I absolutely agree that the pricing sucks.
I love the variety of publishers and games, it is very intriguing. I would pay for a subscription if they had one for a decent price.
^
Problem is, EA's service is only for EA games! That is great if you only play EA games, but a streaming service should be ALL publishers. If this catches on, one company will charge 30 a month, another will charge the same, Rockstar may charge the same to stream theirs. Soon enough your paying hundreds of dollars a month for different publishers games.
That is why I like the idea of PSNow more, even though they need to work on pricing.
Is EA Access MS's answer to PSNow? That would be lame of them, they should just make a streaming service for Xbox. I don't think Sony wanted EA Access...
Their pricing currently stinks of greed, sorry to say. They need ONE decent priced subscription model, not MANY crappy priced rentals. And like it was mentioned above, a free 15 minutes or so of gameplay to try them out.
What's with things they do having to be an open beta, people are paying for it, just release the thing officially! If I remember correctly HOME never left "open beta" right? I hope they don't screw up PSNow...
The EA service is relatively new isn't it? Sony has been talking about Now and it's pricing for a while. I have heard them mention a subscription model long ago, I just wish they would get a good price for it.
I agree, Sony needs to get a good subscription model for this system, and no strange pricing. What the crap is $2.99 for 4 hours...
It may be my favorite game of last gen, but I don't think it is the best game ever made.
