both of which were still mediocre launch games even though they were exclusive to current gen. Mediocre doesn't mean it wasn't enjoyable. But they were no where near comparable to the games we got 2-3 years later into the lifecycle of current gen.

With existing hardware, the PC would have show cased ray tracing, native 4k 60+ frames, all the bells and whistles. Including NVMe SSD quick asset loading..

You still have to play through the game : ) there will still be moments a protagonist has to face resistance even if it's artificial. Lending itself to realism.
