I would rather they revive King's Field. Reboot that first game. Man I loved those first 2 games on PS1.
I take no pleasure in seeing M$ falter like this. I remember the heady days of Halo 2 and J Allard's presentation on the new 360. But sometimes something has to collapse before you can build something new. And I say that about a great number of things in the here and now.
Glanced at the player reviews. "Mixed" is the word best describing them.
I was one of those people standing in line at midnight, in the cold, sick as a dog, waiting to buy Halo 2.
My, how far we've come.
Really like the first one. But I liked the X-Men Legends games more.
Would like to see it come back to PC as well.
I want to say that I am waiting for the PC version. But considering how botched Remake's PC version is, I just don't know.
It'll be a pointless device. Devs will look at the extra power and design their games to be that much shinier and we'll still have framerates all over the place.
I quite agree.
RIP James McCaffrey.
Those that scoff and hand-wave it away are kids that were never there. Peak E3 was peak gaming.
It already IS missed.
Whatever the behind-the-scenes went on over the many years, at the end of the day it was a radical change in direction that I could not go along with. Also why I never bought 16.

I just don't think I want to wait till I am 55 years old for new ME.
Cool thing is you don't even have to buy it.
Amazing, I know.
Revisit? Then get the 2nd game into the backcompat program.
I think there is room to remake the 2 NES games.
They'll just push the new hardware too hard again. We'll gain nothing. We'll still have incomplete AND extra-shiny games running at 20fps.
And with the absolutely glacial beginning of this generation, how many truly native-only awesome games do we have?
So, no.
Yawn.
As has been said, limiting it to phones is a huge mistake.
That's an overhaul? That's a retouch at BEST.
Simply a provocative bait article. Did not even click on it, the title was enough.
Yet I am SURE that many stockholders and kids who love their specific plastic box clicked, clicked, clicked.
