4K, screenshots, PS4? Uh, what?
Funny thing is.. That is motion capture. lol.
Not really. CIG poached a lot of the engineers who wrote Cryengine, and have completely overhauled several areas of the engine. It is also silly and asinine to judge performance requirements by alpha builds of a game.
And no.. Also Star citizen isn't finished yet.
Plus, Star Citizen is Made to showcase what PC games can be, it can be run at higher resolutions, and Framerates than what consoles are capable of.
Silly comparison in the end. imo.
I find him to be a bit obnoxious and over the top, however his honesty is enough to tolerate the persona he puts up.
I'll probably never use the feature. I would however absolutely love it the other way around. I've used Nvidia's gamestream, and it sucks, so I picked up a Steam Link. The steam link works really well, but Steam itself will crash when using it sometimes.
Perhaps... but with how the PC version was embarrassingly mishandled AK should not be getting any awards.
I have no problems with it, however I don't really have the patience to tweak it perfectly.
My GF will end up using it more, and I'll just use a Dualshock 4 with my Steam link (Which even works wirelessly).
And, you care why? It should be noted that the number of people with computers that are significantly more powerful than the consoles is not insignificant either.
That's a laughably incompetent comparison.
Might it be that an Xbox one is several times more capable?
For future reference, upscaling does not mean something is running at the upscaled resolution.
They don't... You can play games on Macs and Linux as well. Im certain that almost all of these sales are from steam.
I wouldn't say a lot more, but is definitely more time managing your device.
To be completely honest: Mods and tweaking are not something you need to do, those are something that you choose to do. Also upgrading is not something you do frequently, if you can't spare an hour every couple of years (or more depending on when you want to upgrade), then you certainly don't have enough time to game at all.
Fixing things, now that is a legitimate thing y...
This report is about just pc gaming hardware and software sales, not pc sales in general.
lol, no. That was a baseless rumor.
Amd, intel it wont matter. What this means is that 'supposedly' AMD's architecture is better suited for DX12 than Nvidia's.
Notice the quotes, as we wont know until DX12 games are out.
Haven't been paying attention to the terrible quality drivers nVidia's been putting out the past several months?
Moving from a 290X to a 980 Ti was the worst upgrade experience I've ever had... The drivers crashed constantly. I used DDU to remove all gpu drivers, reinstalled the nvidia drivers, I even reinstalled windows... It wasn't until recently that I have been able to use my gpu without constant crashes.
I dunno, I run the game at 4K using DSR, and still maintain a rock steady 60FPS.
You will be absolutely fine. AMD is in a holding pattern with their current CPUs, until next year. Their next architecture should be in the same ball park as haswell and skylake for IPC.
Regardless you have a 6 core cpu, with 12 threads, this is better than AMD's current best.
Source: I own a 5820K as well.
Lol, Lifehacker is a very popular website... Irish already stated the facts.
Lets get two facts out of the way:
The difference between 720 and 1080, is actually pretty massive, and unless you are looking at a very small display at 10 feet away you can tell the difference. This is less so with 900/1080, but still holds true, just to a lesser degree.
The PS4 is more powerful than the Xbox One. PCs can be several orders of magnitude more powerful than either console.
