I'll help you recall a good TR, Legend (2006), as well as the 2007 reimaging of the original. All games also sold quite well (2.5 million +, to answer the generic apologies: yes multiplat, no exclusives sell for the exact reason they're exclusives, no most sales came from HD platforms), Eidos just want them to be 90s behemoth again.
Sorry, quite the opposite, they 'll be making Trs because it's a huge franchise which just wasn't handled properly at times...
What this game devs 'said' was a notion of Uncharted atmosphere. There were no 'Uncharted elements'. They 've also stated this reboot will have Portal inspired puzzles, Descent/Hills have Eyes inspired story.
This is an intro demo. The game opens up after you get out to the island where you have non linear gameplay.
TR influenced more or less every single action adventure from Sands of time to Uncharted to even God of War and Assasin'...
Also, recall the 2009 leak of this reboot's concept art?

The design was created long before Uc2 even came out.
Chloe, really? I didn't know Uncharted invented the overrealistic trend currently popular in videogames. They're all doing it, Max Payne, Dmc you name it. Just like most of the videogames were trying to be 'dark' in the early 2000s.
'Uncharted feeling' lol. what's next, Gears of War invented meathead marines?
Didn't know Uc invented realism in games. There's this ongoing 'over realistic' trend in entertainment industry. Max Payne is doing the same.
it's all good when done right, Dmc is doing it wrong.
Uc has the exact same 'climbing mechanics' as CD developed TR attempts, only more magnetizing due to more linear level design and less moves.
AC also has that magnetizing pseudo platforming, I assume by vision they mean something about open world aspect.
if you believe jerking off to some virtual characters, or using females as objects of humiliation is the same as sex then so be it. Have a nice virtual girlfriend, hope you understand each other.
GTA Chinatown Wars and Chaos Rings say hi.
That argument is from the distant past, in a couple of more years we'll have considerably more high budget titles on smartphones.
Also, lol @ 'kill time'. As if one game is less of a waste of time than another. But anyway.
Oh, and SMG is no less so called 'hardcore' than ME2, probably even more.
I can also see the truth, and it shows flawed logic and laughable conspiracy theories, not to mention people with lots of free time on their hands.
I have a better link:

Tomb Raider has always been a puzzle based (be it environmental ones or not) acrobatic platformer, Uc is a shooter first and foremost, with simplistic Sands of Time / TR elements. Is GoW a TR with melee combat? Is Syphon Filter a Tr without the acrobatics? Are pointless comparisons pointless?
Not to mention, like has been said we haven't even seen anything about this game, aside from a couple of screens.
Have you played Black on PS2?
And I believe it could 've handled a tad bit better AI, as well as not so generic level design.
Why, because of your shallow and narrow minded comments of course, and certain flavoured ones at that.. quite a reasonable conjecture. Not that there aren't any shallow, ignorant folks with an er, different 'station in life'.
Describing LC as arrogant is akin to calling ND low life douchebag scum. I do think one is entitled to have a high self-esteem when she can read ancient runes and wield a Thor's hammer.
Er, why on Earth should they?
Aren't exactly from the upper class, are we?
Not funny, ironic.
Sorry my point wasn't obvious to you, I meant you shouldn't call the kettle black. I didn't change the topic, I was drawing analogies, and pointing out your ironic approach.
I find it ironic you're calling him out like that and say 'It wont stop people from saying whatever the fuck they want to', when all those angry typing folks got pissed at Sterling and yet he will surely 'keep on saying whatever the fuck he wants to', I'm also willing to bet many of them did visit his website when he gave GT5 and GoW3 10/10, lulz.
Really? 92 vs 90, you're a sad man, aren't you. What are reviews, scientific facts to say there's a difference?
And Bayo won Ign UK goty, Gamespot best bosses, best new IP from Gt/Gamespot and Edge's one. Also featured in Gamasutra's top 10 at no 3. they're either equal or the same, if anything Bayo probably won more.
Oh, and when referencing Metacritic, always remember what happened to GT5.
Not that I think they can ...
@ yojoe's comment,
By all means, hate it. why bring up different scenarios and put words into peoples' mouths, that's quite a lame attempt to justify your point. I thought people here were talking about this particular game, not your country or society you live in, or Playboy, or Wicked Pictures for that matter, lulz.
Bayonetta makes fun of certain prejudicies and playfully does the same as those lame, generic jrpgs always attempted to do, with t...
That is only partially true. It was indeed head and shoulders above any other console fps at the time, and certainly not an undisputed winner on PC( although, such a thing hardly exists, since it 's so much opinion based).
However out of the list you've mentioned only PC title being similar to it was Starsiege Tribes, which didn't even have a story or any campaign.. besides it had quite a few innovative and uncommon features: two weapon limit, r/c shields, multitu...
