Side by side comparison huh, so far none of them look better. Oh and if it's not on par....why not release the full specs Reggie??? Besides those of us who understand hardware have already deduced that it is in-fact on par.
I'm near Seattle in a well populated area, they're still at Walmart, and a full pallet at the Navy Exchange.
Wrong...Actually Rare did, and they always beat Nintendo on technical prowess (although Yoshi's Island was pretty sweet). BTW, I used to be a Nintendo fan, til Wii and Wii U...
The Disagrees are from young or uninformed gamers...donn't forget NES..also for all the disagrees. Go watch old Nintendo ads! They're catch phrase was Nintendo Power! and they always talked about their power.
how can you dumbasses disagree with me since i just summarized the article, I didn't say it was a fact that the guy brought the idea to them and I don't even care, I was just clarifying the title wasn't talking about the graphics/setting. Aparently fanboys can't read. Note the may have and I never said I think this...
I don't think they meant the art looked like The Last of Us, if you read the article they mean the idea behind the game is similar and that someone from the team joined Naughty Dog after it was cancelled, so that they may have shared the concept that turned into The Last of Us.
I was about to crap my pants by the look of the thumbnail, then I realized the pictures in the article are actual photos.
Road Rash
nice, made me laugh. Far Cry looked amazing 8 years ago though.
One more thing to add to the list of what more power of the next-gen can bring. Higher quality, very detailed and accurate sounds.
Racing Games, specifically simulators, should be the first to be free-to-play. Forza and Gran Turismo have so many cars, and most people probably will only use 5% of them so having that many is useless. Both of the series should be free to play or $10 max; with a few cars to start, and then you buy only the one's that you want. Either individually and/or in packs. All the tracks should always be included. I just had an idea, they could include a track editor, but that's less profitabl...
But of course he has to say this stuff, he has to sell as many Wii Us as he can before the PS4/Xbox 8 come out. I'd buy a Wii U if it was $199.99 (granted I'm positive it'll have very little improvement over PS3/360) with the pro controller and without the tablet controller, only for Nintendo games. They haven't convinced me that the tablet is a good idea.
Agreed. Idk about you, but I 100% disagree with him. In a small scene with little detail (like most Nintendo games or a racing sim game) a trillion more triangles than before won't matter much. But in a game like Skyrim, the ability to process a trillion more triangles is very beneficial. (ie. more dense vegetation and forest, more high detailed characters on screen, and so on) it's not just about improving a single model, but the entire scene. Same goes with applying a lot of high-re...
They better have quad channel memory controllers with 8-16GB ram. A new console should be ~$600. I'd rather pay $600 for a somewhat powerful console that will last 10 years ($60 a year) rather than $300 for an already dated console that will only be as powerful as a tablet computer and less than in a couple years after launch.
No Bob Burnquist? Dang.

Sweet lord, that was beautiful.
It says 700" from 20 meters, which would be a 42 degree viewing angle...So 65" TV from 6 feet is the same. 700" just sounds more impressive. Also means the .7" screen is about 9" from your eye.
I don't trust anything unless it comes from Crytek. PCGamers.de have been wrong before. We just gotta wait til Monday for the real comparison https://secure.mycrysis.com...
