Gamestop's pro membership became trash when they took the 10% discount away and only gave members $5 a month that expired at the end of the month.

I'm hoping Bayonetta 3 which they have been criminally silent about since they announced it.

Exactly, plus the games wouldn't be fun if the AI was hyper aware and "realistic". It's a video game and you are playing as a bald dude with a barcode on his head, obviously he'd be easy to find.

I completely agree about having it PS5/XSX/PC only. Devs need the ability to not be held back by eight year old consoles. I get not wanting to leave behind an easy install base but you aren't going to motivate them to upgrade if you keep catering to them.

The opening, the blitzball match featuring Rammstein, the attack. Then it quickly goes downhill. Return to Zanarkand was instantly an iconic Final Fantasy song.

Ubisoft is a fine choice, they make pretty good games.

Absolutely! I wasn't sure when it was just the non-gameplay trailers but once that first gameplay trailer hit I was instantly sold.

If you think gamepass will make up the difference, I hope you are aware the service itself is a money pit and isn't making MS any money.

Video games ARE how I relax and have fun but if the down time isn't earned then it's just not as fun.

This! I look at the year and write down all the games I am going to 100% without a doubt want to buy day 1. Developers have to work hard to sell me on a game. If you avoid gameplay forever or don't show me WHY I need to play this game then chances are I'm going to pass on it. If you throw a celebrity to the face of the marketing while barely showing gameplay then I'm just seeing red flags with the game, for example Cyberpunk. Halo is one that is worrying me. Barely any gameplay, w...

As an adult the lockdowns sucked for gaming. Sure, Animal Crossing and Final Fantasy 7R just hit so I easily put a lot of time into that but even as a teen I had a great work ethic and always wanted to be doing something productive. So I go to work and work hard so I can go home and relax to some video games, it was always a reward for my hard work. Lockdown gaming felt hollow and unearned and it's not like I had housework to do, I have OCD so everything is clean and tidy (most because du...

It's very sad but let's hope they have been cooking something up with Resistance.

The game is 6 years old, it doesn't need a remake!

I deleted it off my PS5, borrowed my roommate's disk, and now there is a permanent black icon saying the game's name to the left of the store icon. My ps5 did that with a couple other digital games I deleted as well but a license refreshed fixed those but Cyberpunk is still there. CDPR really screwed this game up even when the game isn't installed it still leaves a mess on the console.

"If I make an uninformed decision I'm the only one to blame."

Except CDPR already admitted that they lied about how the performance was on consoles. It was false marketing. They admitted to purposely withholding review copies for consoles because they KNEW the state the of the game. People who bought the game couldn't make an informed decision because they were blocked from knowing the facts and only knew what CDPR was lying about. But way to defend shitty...

Considering they were just bragging about the success of the game sales wise and to add that the Witcher 3 also came out in pretty poor condition (though nowhere near as bad as Cyberpunk), they definitely are not learning any lessons except that they can lie to customers as long as they throw millions at a celebrity to market the game for them. All in all I do hope they learn their lesson going forward but money talks and gamers despite their audible disgust do not vote with their wallets.

It would also have been a MASSIVE incentive for those 50 million owners to upgrade but now they are going to look at the game and realize they can save $500 by just keeping their eight year old console because you know...it's just math. Imagine how much Halo 3 would have suffered if they forced it to be on the OG Xbox instead of the 360 exclusive. See how Cyberpunk was hurt by old tech? Like you said it's just math.
