Agree. Love Half-life, was devistated at the cliffhanger all those years ago in Ep 2, even more hurt they never finished the story. But even if my PC is capable of VR, I don't have a VR helmet. And I doubt I'll be buying one anytime soon. Really want to play this game, but I'm not buying a VR for one game.
You still can't play that game on Max settings. Maybe some day...
Games media doesn't deal with facts. Those only get in the way of their attention grabbing headlines and agenda pushing narratives.

Cuz they haven't figured out how to make it a GaaS yet. That's why. Ubi don't make single player games and haven't for a while. It's multiplayer or nothing with them.

Stadia's soul is already down in Hell, and the only thing Doom Slayer is gonna do is go down and Glory Kill it.
May not entirely be news, but I greatly appreciate these posts. I check them all the time and have bought things because of these kinds of posts. It beats checking Amazon every day for every game in interested in. These lists keep it tidy.
Depending on the age, Pokemon will be too complicated to get young kids into gaming.
When I introduced my son into gaming the easiest things at the time were Super Mario Bros Wii and Mario Kart Wii. Both super easy to pick up and understand. Now he's 8 and he and I just played through Luigi's Mansion 3 together. But he is one of those kids that also really got into Fortnite over a year ago, and that's mostly what he plays.

When the reality is the architecture of the Cell is going to make that nearly impossible for a console to do at this point. People are only now cracking the surface of PS3 emulation on PC. And the requirements are pretty high. PS5 won't have those capabilities. As much as I would love the idea of an all in one system, people are dreaming too hard on this one.
Yes they do. They haven't done a live stage conference like EA or Microsoft the past few years, but they've always had a large presence on the show floor. This cancellation effects them too.
Agreed. I feel they've already passed the point of no return. Changes needed to be made a few years ago. Anything from this point is only delaying the inevitable.
Saw posts somewhere else just a few mins ago too. Looks like it's true. That's pretty big. We'll get Directs from Nintendo and Sony, with Microsoft most likely following suit. But no show floor is huge.
Yes the $1500 label is a bit over exaggerated. But with my PC, I'm pretty sure I have the CPU, but most likely not the GPU. Plus I don't have a VR helmet. So even still, a few hundred for GPU and VR Helmet, plus game. So for someone like me, ballpark, $500+ is still pretty high for a single game.
