Can you clarify some things for me:
I chose to destroy the reapers, but because my effective military strength was only 2500 or so, my Shepard supposedly died. According to the indoctrination theory, what happens next? I obviously don't wake up in the London rubble or in the Citadel.
And if everything was a dream after Harbinger hit me with his laser. Uh, then what? I go into the citadel for real in the DLC? And make the real decision there?
I'm not that much of an RPG junkie, but I thoroughly enjoyed Witcher 2. Although sometimes I wished there was some kind of fast travel cause there was a lot of backtracking. But that's the lazy gamer in me.
There is something fundamentally wrong with the ending. Minor spoilers***
Ash was in my party to retake London; however in the epilogue, she ends up on the stupid new world. How the fuck does she go from earth to the Normandy, especially when I destroyed all technology?
How does one trust Bioware now after this mess? Not to mention the crap ME3 ending and the debacles of Dragon Age 2. I per-ordered DA2 thinking it would be of the same caliber of the first game. Boy was I mistaken. When DA3 is out, I'll wait to see if the internet blows up again before buying it. Bioware has lost my trust.
I'm very excited for Natural Selection 2. The first one provided a lot of good memories and experiences and this one probably will not disappoint either.
Agreed. Art is subjective so there's never going to be a consensus on whether games is an art medium. Some people think taking a bathroom urinal and turning it on its side is art, some do not. To each their own.
Well ... not surprisingly I could not resist the temptation to try the DEMO, I launched it and that his Bengal Tiger presa.
Gotta love these translations!
Modern Warfare 3 will probably have you waterboard someone or pull their finger nails out just to up the ante.
I have devised the perfect reviewing system that I call the "National & International Game Grading Rubric." Gamespot, GT, and some others are currently considering switching to this system. It will be color coded ranging from: green > blue > yellow > orange > red.
Red games are games that score in the 90th percentile.
Orange games are games that score in the 80th percentile.
Yellow games are games that score in the 70th percentile.

Eh, flawed logic. You get the full game (Single player, co-op, and multiplayer) for full price. Whether or not you choose to indulge in all aspects of the game is your choice, but you are given the entire game anyway. So it is not fair to ask whether or not MW2 is worth it for that price if you only take single player into account.
The IGN video reviewer also stated he beat the game in around 5 hours.
I agree, most people will have different opinions when it comes to games, but I don't imagine it'd be too difficult to have a company meeting and design some type of score/grading rubric. Not having standards does not only affect the score (which by the way I think every site should abolish, just my opinion), but it also affects the content of the reviews.
Standards increase the transparency in these reviews. So when they talk about a game that brings nothing innovative to the ta...
Can't we all just agree that there seems to be little to no standardization for many of these gaming sites and their reviews regardless of the console or game?
Come on, if one game is getting docked points for X, then another game should get docked points for X. That isn't fanboyism, that's LOGIC.
Go Fedor!
Spoilers indeed. I watched some of them, but even if I wanted to watch the entire game on youtube, I wouldn't watch this guy's because his commentary is very annoying and became increasingly irritating.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Damn, after reading the headline, I got excited and thought we were going to vote on whether or not we think Kotaku was a reputable site.
Why bring down others just to prop yourself up? Dirty business.
I bought a lamp from Target and it didn't work out of the box. I exchanged it. Now my new one works great. Problem solved and I didn't have to make a youtube video out of it. I suggest he do the same for his PS3slim. Then cut his catwoman nails.
If this article gets approved, I quit N4G. It's just getting ridiculous.
That's just stupid. I wouldn't mind if the data plans included text messaging because then it would save money. But $30 for data and then $15 for texts? That's an extra $45 on top of my voice plan. F*#@ AT&T.
Whatever endings/theories people believe in is their choice. I understand people are upset and are actively looking to salvage the endings by supporting alternative endings/theories. But some of these things I think are desperate grasping at straws.
1. Wasn't wearing armor: Maybe Bioware found it easier/cheaper to make one damaged armor model than for each set/piece of armor.
2. Infinite ammo: Lots of games do this where they give you infinite ammo for se...
