Active cinematic experiences are fantastic. All those games you listed are critical darlings and best sellers. How is that a bad thing? Just because you dont control every facet of the game doesn't mean it's a hand holding title.
As a matter of fact, I'd say that cinematic video games have taken the video game industry to a whole new level of artistic expression.
And if you didn't like Heavy Rain, then you are the kind of person the developers...
Sigh, if only the writer did some research, he would know that the first pilot was made in 2009 but was not broadcasted. Heavy Rain was released in Feb of 2010.
If this were any other game than Uncharted, people would be up in arms about the short playtime.
Man, Jim Sterling needs to chill the feck out and quit whining. He's been complaining about this since he put out his review. A couple days ago the lead at Dice was perplexed by the 8/10 that jim gave the game, and Jim wrote an entire column justifying his score. He is the scum of the gaming industry, and hes a giant baby.

Yeah, Red Faction is dead because THQ killed it. The last entry in the series was boring and bland. It was nothing like Guerilla.
It's too bad too, that series could have had a bright future.
I was trying to think of what actor would make a good John Marston and I came up with Josh Brolin. He's the only one I can think of that looks and could potentially sound like him.

The funny thing is that there is actually no true sales data/statistics in this "article". It compares Amazon's(and Amazon's only) game rankings over a period of time. There is no real data here. There is no real logic here either. Just a guy with a blog spitting in the wind, in hopes to get his crappy blog noticed.

Xbox has a 3 year warranty on RROD, so in actuality those sales are not due to replacement units. I'll be the first to admit, I've been through 3 Xboxes(a couple years ago) but I've never paid a dime to replace or fix it. But I have had to replace a PS3 only one year after buying one.

Killzone 3 WAS leaked, like every game in the past six months has been leaked. MLB 11 The Show is leaked right now, and so is Dragon Age 2. Who cares though? Why would you care if one system's game leaks and not the other?

As far as the title goes, lately there has been an abundance of sensationalized titles floating around here. Amazing, epic, stunning, insane. It's against N4G policy to use sensationalized titles. I thought it would be a fun experience using the sharpshooter, a kickback to the old school days of light gun games. I bought one yesterday and I have to say that it isn't as good as I had hoped.

I believe ilomilo doesnt officially release for XBLA until Jan 5. There was a secret trial you could download back in Nov, and a Win Phone 7 game, but the official release isnt until next year.
