Sad times. The shine is a fleeting feeling. Experiences and memories last forever. Give me that and I'm all in. I could go and buy right this second and with this being the first gen I've had no Xbox I was excited. But there's just nothing for me. Save yourself some pain and get a switch, keep playing your PS4 OG or Pro and all the amazing exclusives. See PS5 reveal. Feel glad you waited and didn't get ripped off by MS ability to deliver yet again.

Also, being cautious about things, I guess nothing they tested it with would have been made to make use of the machines full potential yet so perhaps give it some time before the machines noise level can truly be monitored. But this goes for any new machine.

I was one of those. Now I love it. That controller!? I bought the pro but since playing Mario its really shown how comfy it is not having to have both hands together on one piece of hardware. I personally think it's the best of the bunch now. Love my PlayStation but this hardware is next level despite not being so powerful. Sat in the airport last Friday with it and Mario was a funny feeling. So good
Unfortunately there seams to be little attention airway for XOX. When I talk to my friends, especially those like myself that are platform agnostic, it's just not a consideration. Switch is considered more. Or a new half decent TV for that price
Even if I had the 4k set up I'd still get a pro I think. It's a real shame that I'll not have XB this gen. Really sad times for MS. My plan has always been to wait on 4k until post current PS4 and XB gen as new machines in a few years will no doubt take advantage of any minor new TV tech. It's a stop gap right now. But the xb1x doesn't even have games. I'm more excited by my Switch currently. In awe of that machine every time I pick it up. Back to PS4 for next Destiny ...
I imagine both our opinions are shared by many. They could do a good job but the franchise, in my view, always lacked that of a quality title

Sure they were ok but things have moved on and so have Insomniac I hope. Wouldn't even be bothered for a remaster.
I enjoyed them for what they were but they were average at best. A title Insomniac probably learnt a great deal from.
Leave it alone and do better
Is there actually a shortage? Its their last chance in many people's view... they'd be pulling a bad move if they're trying playing game. Hope its not an attempt to generate sales. You need quality games to do that

Better off buying a switch then a PS5 in a few years. For the price you could get both a standard PS4 AND a switch. And they definitely both have games
If they're clever, they will already have laid out the plans for next hardware update to coincide with their games and the next PlayStation. I expect the XoX is result of the work towards this new machine and a stop gap to salvage what's left of the brand they destroyed. Bringing back confidence will make it easier to sell the next machine and theyll have less to prove to the market. It's an uphill climb I hope they manage to conquer because it's good for the industry. This...
