The issue with merging trophies together, in my opinion, is that you could just get 5 friends or family members together to merge 5 different accounts and it would just undermine the entire trophy system.
This could easily be abused, but trust me, I know the feeling since I am in this situation as well.

Besides PSN name changes, the other 4 are either not really problems, or they are so minute and insignificant, that no one will even notice. Sony be doing a damn good job if these are the TOP problems of the PS4. I doubt they are, so do more research next time.

It's ultimately the players' decision whether or not to buy the micro-transactions. Personally, as long as it is not "pay to win", I do not care.
I'm just happy that a lot of these micro-transactions have been used to help re-vitalize the Esports Halo scene which has contributed over a million dollars for the Halo 5 World Championships.
I think Guerilla games's development cycle will work similarly to what Naughty Dog does. It won't be two studios. Their goal is for their games to release in about a 3 year dev cycle. Anyone hoping for Killzone to come back will be very disappointed.
I'm guessing they will have a deep pre production team for future projects and their main team to work on full development so they can release their games more efficiently.
