there is no reason to bring up the ps move. it is never mentioned once in the article. either dismiss kinetic or praise it, but w/o trolling. that said, a lot of the developers' responses were pretty elusive. would have liked more specific examples of what they were planning to do w/ kinetic

good article. and judging from all the rants here, it makes a good point about owners defending whichever console they bought in order not to look stupid. to be fair, there were more anti-sony comments and the author doesn't outright name MS from being the 'killers of old ladies'.

i would like Kinect and PS move to fail, not because i hating, but because i fear the shovel-ware and the influx of stupid novelty accessories that may flood the 360/ PS3 markets. waggle controls may win in the short interim but i just can't see the hardcore completely adopting it. but if it does, then i'll bite.

i have thought the reason the wii sold so well over the 360 and the ps3 was simply because it was the cheapest console of the three at its starting price point, and not because of its motion control. finally that theory can be proven or not this fall.
and now I AM SCARED!
