It's called research, and you obviously know about the internet, you just "blogged" on it. I too have swapped my drive out for a larger one, and had no problems. If you read and have common sense it is a painless problem. The fact that you can change the drive is a feature, your stupidity made it a problem... blame yourself not the MFG. They could have just told you it's not upgradeable..

I was commenting more on the fact that I tax my Apple computers very hard in example... 12 mo ++ running, no down time rendering Maya 3d scenes, 1080p HD or film rendering.
