EA are employing more people in Europe though. Seen a few adverts for quite a few positions recently.

They are probably just shifting resources so they can have more a developer presence over here. Same with all large corporations, they have an expense budget and use it where they feel it suits them best at the time.

It's a good story and certainly one I was interested to read.

Good find

My only complaints with this game are, the annoying voiceover (which I've switched off anyway) bring back Nicky Grist. Some very choppy frame rates in parts of the game which they need to patch asap, and the dodgy handling of some of the cars. Some are good but I think a lot more research should of gone into the handling physics

If you think that violent video games breed violence in our society then may I draw your attention to a particular Ferdinand II of Aragon. You may be familiar with him and the group he set up. I can provide you with many more violent figures throughout history who were responsible for atrocities on a level you could never hope to comprehend, long before the video game was invented.

"Man was, is and until we reach an enlightened level of evolution, always will be a violent ...

Vista runs great on a Mac, so who needs PC's

Need to get these titles on XBLA or the PS3 Store. I completed all these games and they were awesome. A newly realised next gen Strike game would kick ass if done in the right way. There must be some bod at EA who can make this happen. With the rubbish they've turned out recently they owe it to us.

for corporate networks MS products are easier to work with and are king, but for the home user or for a reliable stand alone workstation A Mac can't be beaten. I use my desktop for music production and XP is simply to flaky to work with, OSX is simply awesome.

The problem is 80% of consumers in the UK are to reserved, we need to force the hand of these companies. The trouble you have is you'll never get enough people to bother themselves to do anything about it.
We're to reserved for our own good. Except a small portion to which I belong.

I deal with the results of idiots crashing high performance cars everyday, and trust me it isn't people playing their xbox or ps3 you have to worry about. It's the people with too much money and no experience/respect for the car. Nanny state getting it wrong once again

Do we really need another 360 v PS3 article. How about these idiots actually wait for the market to settle in to the PS3, so its on more of a level standing in Library, development and establishment of services. Then we can compare how the two are fairing with a lot more information and relevant data. I live in the UK so can't comment on the PS3 as I havn't seen it running yet or experienced it for myself. But I would rather let it establish itself rather than passing early judgement. As shou...

It's a good thing that we have the hard drives for releasing additional content and improvements for games. But they certainly shouldn't be using them to release sub standard goods in the first place.

I think developers seem to be relying on the hard drive a bit to much. But then if the game gets delayed, we complain as we have to wait.

I have two Lite On Sony drives in my music rig, and the only thing you can hear is the initial spin up then they are really quiet, no reason for these to be any different. Then again there was no reason for the first batch to be so noisy.

Lite on are manufacturing these drives. They recently purchased BenQ's facility and have taken over production. The drives are actually designed by Philips. Basically they are now Philips drives built by Lite On. The deal gets BenQ a cut for the use of the facility.

Sony and NEC drives are also made by Lite On

Been having some pretty epic full scales battles already on Live, and thats just in the demo. Can't wait till things really get going. You really have to think about your attacks and plan it out. My type of game.

Just had a quick tour round the site and I've got to say it looks awesome. Excellent job. Layout is great and new features that I've found so far are useful.

Good work

But I had a letter on Saturday advising that my pre-order I have with Littlewoods online will be delayed until the 30th April. The reason given was that this was the date that they are receiving stock from the supplier. I wouldn't bank on many being available on the 23rd
