A lot of things IMO depend on whether the NX will be backwards compatible or not.
If Nintendo goes with a x86-based architecture for the NX (what they should!), then BC wiLl become very difficult to achieve.
Battlefield should return to tactical-based gameplay, like it used to in BF2.
Not saying it has to become like ARMA, but toning down the twitch gameplay a bit and greater emphasize team-mechanics would do the series good.
If I were Nintendo, I would regarding to the NX,
a) stick to 'Nintendo NX' as a name. It doesn't sound so bad, but most importantly people are already familiar with it.
b) bite the bullet and make it significantly enough more powerful than the X1/PS4 and sell it at a very competitive price (and accept loss on hardware slaes) to buy back market share, like i.e. MS is doing with Windows 10.
c) also go with x86, to insure compatibili...
Yep Nintendo effed up this e3.
Still hyped for Xenoblade X. (though I didn't expect the release date to be as late as in December)
Let me guess: It's "magic".
The Wii U is upgradable? When, where and who said that?
Only thing I know is that something has yet to exceed Planescape: Torment yet.
Bayonetta 2 is so good.
EA/DICE - hyping up their products is what they can do best.
Will it be as "magical" as Battlefield 4, DICE?

Frankly, nothing but seeing the final product will make me believe anything they say.
This looks very epic indeed.
That English narrator was just terrible. I sincerely hope this is not an indication for the quality of acting we're going to be served in the localization.
Considering the high quality acting of the all British cast from the original Xenoblade, that would be a huge let down.
That American English narrator is just terrible. Where are the talented British English voices we got used to from the original Xenoblade?
Masahiro Sakurai is the guy behind Smash Brothers and kriby. And that person on the photo is him.
Let's say it has an extremely appealing 'visual design'
Not going to watch this.
As a matter of fact I don't want hear anything about that game anymore.
I just want to have my copy in my hands and play the game!
@edmix
Good grief. I wouldn't have thought you would get all sensitive over a snippy comment.
Yes, I agree. All concerns are legit; As all concerns are subjective.
It's true I didn't get your joke at first instance, but the true irony in this is that I meant my comment only half serious too.
Anyway I called you a 'Hater', you called me a 'Fanboy'. Guess we're even. :)
I agree. But DICE can say all they want. I believe it when I see ACTUALL gameplay.
And even if the visuals live up to expectations, it's not guaranteed gameplay, content and/or quality does too.
Good. Considering the amount of comments you spent hating on this game, that copy would have been a wasted on you anyway.
Great to hear.
People who enjoyed the previous games pretty much wont be bothered by these 'issues'. In some cases quite to the contrary actually.
IMO for the NX to have a chance to successfully establish itself, it needs to
A) be both able to compete with the X1/PS4 on a technical level (and by that I mean, be significantly enough MORE powerful) AND feature a unique selling proposition in form of whatever innovation Nintendo can come up with!
B) be sold at a very competitive price point! (Nintendo needs to bite the bullet and buy back market share)
C) NOT being released neither too soo...
