Super Mario Galaxy 2 is the best game of this generation without a shadow of a doubt. If anything can take the crown it will be Elder Scrolls V or Skyward Sword.

Graphically the 3DS has amazing capabilities, so its slight inferiority to Vita won't hold it from selling at all just like DS and PSP. Graphic whores are very few in number & don't own handhelds anyway and 3DS has glasses free 3D so it has an advantage(when used properly like OoT3D and SML3D).

It was a great game, but definitely not the best from 2001-2009 (9 years). I would have to give that title to Metroid Prime or Half Life 2:D
