Everything is indeed subjective, but just judging by objective previous data (and Metacritic scores), it's not as good as it has been in past years.
I think that's part of Cooke's hypothesis. The higher the refresh rate of a particular piece of visual media, the more detail the eye is able to extract from it. Sub-41 framerates lead to lower detail extraction from a particular scene (in gamers' case - video games), which leads to his reasoning. Interesting stuff, definitely.
Agreed, I always thought he would be fond of something like SoM's Nemesis System. Imagine what he and his team could do with something like that. Exciting stuff.
How was Mercenary? I don't have a PSVita, and I can't imagine how well FPS work on the handheld.
Definitely. Microtrans in AAA games are terrible. Even if they are optional, possibly upsetting game balance.
It appears that the "promotional comparison images" may not have been official Ubisoft material. However, it did originate from Ubisoft Poland's Facebook page, so it could be a regional error type of deal.
It's both a blessing and a curse, my friend.
^Like Godz said, after browsing some YouTube videos, I just feel sad for humanity after reading some of the comments.
Neither is mine. Brokevember took its toll on my wallet.
This is why we can't have nice things.
Internet anonymity brings out the worst in people.
Seconded. I've got Elfroot flowing out of my britches.
They really need to fix the game's gravity-defying physics.
Or maybe not...I've had many a laugh watching Arno go beyond the bounds of the universe jumping from crate to crate.
But no, really. Fix it, Ubi.
It'd be a Christmas miracle!
I agree, but I don't think devs should make empty promises saying there will be no more delays. It just looks bad and disappoints fans. But as I've said, I do believe it will benefit the game when it releases.
Yeah, seems like it. A bit of a bummer though. But it'll most likely benefit the game in the long run.
Ubisoft needs to hire a team of professional exterminators to clean out all of Unity's bugs.
It's actually probably a good thing it's delayed. 2015 is very heavily front loaded so far.
Third Eye Blind.
I don't think it takes HD remasters into account really. It's more of an objective report comparing it to previous years.
