Or the reaction to months of rumours beforehand.
Titanfall was also running a PC/360 controller combo in the Xbox booth. The game was fun as hell, but the lack of even the X1 controller is disappointing.
Everyone crapping on this as a "little indie game" clearly hasn't played it yet. The game is fucking GORGEOUS in action and was extremely addicting. Can't wait for it to come out.
id is a shell of their former selves, Carmack is just trying to stay relevant now. He wouldn't be saying this at all if Sony was doing what Microsoft did, and anyone with half a brain knows it.
Hell sounds like more fun than Heaven anyways
Well this would blow if it happens, would pretty much force me out of the YT game. :/
He tried to sneak him a used copy? I've never had that happen to me before... And I'm sorry, but a used game should not count as another sale. It's already out in the market, you've already earned your money from it, that's that.
Insomniac killed the series all on their own with Resistance 2. It's too bad people weren't willing to give it another chance after that garbage game because I think R3 is one of the best games Insomniac has released in the 9 years.
Not sure how it would tie-in to the movie seeing as the movie is based off of the first game, unless they go back in time with this.
I'm going to be pretty upset if it's the B-Team again. Insomniac has been getting really stale this generation, I felt that Resistance 3 and A Crack in Time showed that they might be back, but they threw it all away with Fuse and handing R&C off to this half-assed second team.
I really do hope Sony finds a new developer for the franchise, a group of people that are fans of the game and really want to make a new game the same way Sanzaru took over the Sly Cooper se...
It likely is. Stig Asmussen (the director on God of War III) has been off with another team working on something else for a few years now, I expect that will be what we see.
The first didn't sell very well, Microsoft would've had to pay a crap ton of money to get EA to publish it and minimize their audience like that. Possible, but I'm not sure even EA would go for it.
They may be able to afford renting a game, but not everyone has the OPTION to rent a game. For me, Rogers Video, Blockbuster... they're all gone. GameFly doesn't ship to Canada. Redbox is my only option, and the pickings are rather slim there...
Reviews shouldn't be used as a 'be all, end all' thing, but there is value in looking at multiple reviews to see what flaws the game may have and to get an idea if it's worth spending full price to get the game...
I like trophies. They're completely optional, if you feel that you HAVE to get them, that's your problem then. I always play through a game once or twice for my own enjoyment before I decide whether or not to grind a Platinum Trophy out of it.
Nooooo Microsoft, this one is on you and your overpriced cable box.
Activision has never had their own press conference. They'll bring Ghosts to Xbox One, and Destiny to PS4. They don't really have much else besides Skylanders and don't care to show that kind of stuff off at E3.
Indie devs abandoning Microsoft hurts both them and Microsoft. Indie games are a huge market right now, and Microsoft is going to lose out on that. On the other hand, indie devs are losing a huge market to share their games with. It's a lose-lose situation, and Microsoft needs to wake up and fix it.
You're basing it solely on the graphics? Sure they got downgraded but that's the case in most games. I found the gameplay and ranking/unlock system to be much better than UC2. Not a fan of the MP in either game though.
I thought I was finally going to escape this series after AC3, but NO! Ubisoft had to go and add Pirates. GAWD DAMMIT. xD
People need to calm the f*ck down and realize Criterion is doing something new. They aren't working on Burnout or Need for Speed anymore, that's the territory of Ghost Games.
