Wow! Give away money and take bad press out of what should be a 100% W instead of roll back the patch 😂. Unbelievable.

Nope $70. Read more carefully. The $60 version is for Xbox One. So unless you want to play through backwards compatibility on your XS, you’ll be paying $70 to buy.

Sorry to bust your bubble, but we were going to get these games anyways. Starfield & ESO6 we’re already in development, and Fallout 5 follows their routine release pattern. Phil had nothing to do with this.

Getting so tired of seeing these State of Plays and focus on 3rd Party or Indy. Getting out front to set expectations doesn’t excuse the fact that it’s becoming sickeningly rare for them to showcase the first parties. That’s what people want to see. Beyond GOW and a few Marvel games due in 2023/2024, we have virtually no confirmations of anything from any first party studios. Where’s the roadmap? What’s up with all these studios they bought? I’m bracing myself for the inevitable reveal of a n...

This article is wrong. The tweet from Steam said all Q1 emails for this week have already been sent (tweet is from Monday). Anyone remaining still showing Q1 will get their emails to purchase next week. This article implies anyone in Q1 has a Steam Deck on the way, and that’s false. I’m still listed in Q1 and should get my purchase option this coming Monday like the rest of Q1 that’s still open.

Microsoft’s reckless spending spree forces their hand. Should they just stand still while MS keeps subtracting entire multiplat game publishers from their ecosystem? Of course not. I hate this consolidate Spencer’s started, but now that it’s in full swing, Sony should absolutely buy Capcom and remove those games from Xbox. They need to fight back better than an SIE ww studios independent multiplat Bungie.

Sony didn’t have the cash to but a fifty cent Snicker’s bar from 7-11 according to MS fanboys on the site. And yet they just forked out over 3m. I think most would agree buying Square Enix, Capcom, or Ubisoft are very much within Sony’s reach and would cripple Microsoft far worse if the IPs were made exclusive than Zenimax. MS started the mass consolidation and subtraction of entire ecosystems. They absolutely should fight fire and pull one of these moves and to remove major household nam...

Imagine paying $70 billion for primarily one IP (COD drove this buyout and we all know it), and then proceeding to cut out the largest audience for it by being arrogant enough to think most Playstation fans will just abandon their preferred ecosystem.

I’m convinced Xbox fans just enjoy taking major games and developers off PlayStation platforms. They were getting these games anyway. And no, the games aren’t any better because “Micrawsaft iz riiiiich!” We’ve seen Amazon, Apple, and even Netflix jump into the ring. I wonder what Xbox reaction will be the first time one of those wealthy juggernauts “subtract” major games from their system. 🤔

The disagrees are from the common sense folks that know the only reason Nintendo wasn’t knocked off their perch last year is the ridiculous component shortages that have crippled Sony and Microsoft. Had supply been anywhere near the far more manageable PS4 launch levels, Sony would be going on 11 months on top in a row.

Every Xbox fan just breathed a collective sigh as relief at this comment as they actively prod Microsoft to buy even more studios to subtract even more games from other people. I suppose it’s easy to do when it’s one sided 🤷🏻‍♂️. Then they’ll be strokes about it, say get over it to PS fans, and complain about some timed exclusivity like it’s the same thing.

Serious question: With the global chip and semi conductor shortages, how is Nintendo not getting screwed like Sony and Microsoft? How are so many Switch’s available?
