Aren't there like twice as many 360's than PS3's in the UK? I would think the 360 would sell better than just 20% more than PS3!
Yeah, doom 3 was a letdown for me. It was so redundant! I couldn't even finish the thing.
Then Quake came out, and that was just as bad! One thing is for sure, id better come out with something good or its game over for them.
Don't get me wrong 60 players is awesome, but it sounds like the way they're structuring it, its going to be like a bunch of games within games. So unless you venture out of your designated area, you'll just be fighting the same ppl you be fighting if it was 10 on 10.
If your team within a team completes there goals than it will positively effect the battlefield for the rest of your players, but I would rather have a more cohesive game where everyone fights each other.
But I'll definetly pick it up so my nephews have something to play when they come over...

This is definetly a Halo 3 killer. That being said, I think I'm more excited for this then my other most anticipated game this year, Gears of War 2.
Gears of War 2 hasn't done enough to differentiate itself from 1. Now they have 5 on 5 mp, a poison grenade, and the Hammer burst is different. That is all I've heard about it so far.

Yeah, 360 leads PS3, but check this one out:
360 sales after 2 yrs. = 9mil
PS3 sales after 18 mths = 12mil
PS3 still has 6 months b4 it hits the 2yr mark and it has sold significantly more units than 360 already. Sony hasn't even touched its heavy hitter yet - God of War, Killzone, Final Fantasy, when these games hit the market you can expect their console sales to rise.

Its much better than COD4. The smoke effects, the explosions, the lighting, the character animations, the bullet fire(bullets actually glow red).
When something explodes in COD4 you just see a plume of smoke. In KZ2 you see the burst. Not to mention the flames look better in general. The destructable environments are also impressive in this game. In another video they have posted they show a tank blow up a building and you see hundreds of peices fall to the ground.

Gears doesn't really compare to this game - ones 3rd person the others 1st person.
And if you think Gears is the only 3rd person shooter out there geuss again, its going to have plenty of competition from Red Faction: Guerilla, Damnation, Socom, and Fallout.
But really, the graphics in Killzone and the sheer size of the environments put Gears to shame.
The one thing I didn't like was it isn't easy to spot other players. You can't really see the rebels unless your using nectar, and they make sure its easy to spot the mantel troopers w/ their bright yellow uniform.
But yeah, there are supposed to be some driving missions and we haven't even played as the rebels yet so the game has some untapped potential.
I would say the graphics are on par with Halo 3. They serve their purpose but nothing to gawk at.

Is it just me or is every person Italian that's playing this game? Every video I've seen now the dudes are speaking italian "bah fangu, stunad acino!"
But yeah, I think part of the reason the AI is so weak is because this is a demo, they are trying to showcase the technical side of the game(i.e. the environemts). You don't have to be a skilled player to grasp the concept the devs are trying to get across.

You're still crying about something someone said a year ago? Sony has plenty of good exclusives for me to justify owning a console - Drakes Fortune, Motorstorm, Warhawk, Resistance, GTP, etc.
The only thing I play on my 360 is Gears. Their other exclusives don't appeal to me whatsoever. I'm sorry, but I don't own a console for just one game. I mean, can we get another crimson skies? Can we get a decent action adventure game on 360?

The production design alone would be awesome(ever seen Ridley Scott's movie Legend?). It would definetly be a PG feature along the lines of lotr or the Hobbit but the Zelda universe has plenty of interesting characters and material that is ripe for a big screen adaption. Most importantly, it is original.

This game would never work on 360, w/ the vehicle destruction alone there are too many objects on screen. The cell excels at having multiple objects(no pun intended). The 360 is better at polygon counts though.
Really though, the 360 might have had more titles earlier in its lifespan but lets face the facts, they were just glorified XBOX1 titles(King Kong, Splinter Cell, Perfect Dark). Now Sony, instead of making a bunch of mediocre PS3 titles, just released more PS2 titles.
