I don't know, cult status or not, I thought eternal darkness sucked. I got 1/2 way through and stopped playing that game out of boredom.
Blu Ray Player ftw
This is a dumb article, it sounds like he is just labeling things racist that he doesn't agree with. Like setting a game in NO, ok, we get it, a majority of the pop. is black, that doesn't mean all you will be doing is shooting black people. No, a majority of people you kill in FPS's are usually white, for the very reason that people will cry about it being insensitive if you portray black people as bad guys.
I don't hear anyone complaining about the unfair portrayal of arab pe...

That out of all the MMO's announced for consoles, less than a handful have actually released. How long have we known about games like DC Universe, APB, and the Agency? They've been announced for over a year, with no sign of a release date.
DC Heroes?
Free Realms?
Huxley?
The Agency?
Damn, those graphics are pretty slick, those boss fights look epic as hell!
Good to see the Cayman getting some love. I actually think the car is sick. Its like an entry level 911, technically its the next-gen boxster, but w/ a hard top and a hell of a lot hotter.
From what I understand they scrapped the 360 version for some reason. Bringing an MMO to consoles is proving to be quite difficult. You just can't bring out a lot of MMO's and expect them to sell well. People can only justify paying a monthly fee for so many games.
I think they should sell it at a higher price, and just give you the first 4-6 months for free. Otherwise, when more MMO's start coming out, there is going to be to much competition.
Fat Princess is easily the best network game I've ever played
The Art style is awesome, the graphics are wonderful and the gore is funny - bloodstains everywhere
The gameplay is fun and addicting, the character classes are robust and there are 8 levels that require completely different strategies.
The game is extremely well balanced, and it has a lot of replayability. Shadow Complex pales in comparison.
Besides, it defeats the purpose of calling it a 'Collecters' item when it is mass produced. 'Collectors' items are supposed to appreciate in value.
I just hope they tone down the amount of players and focus on the gameplay in the MP. Too many players really lagged the servers in this game.
I thought KZ2 had a good SP campaign, it just took a while to get going, but especially the last boss fight. I don't care who you are, play that mission on the hardest mode and you will get your ass handed to you.
IGN is highly slanted though. Over Gow3, U2, and Splinter Cell conviction, they chose Alan Wake as best action adventure game. Obviously they have an agenda to push.
This is probably one of my most anticipated titles for the 360 this fall, but I gotta say, where as this game is only supposed to be an hour long, I was in the beta for Fat Princess, and that game is like digital crack. I really think that game deserves to be the network GOTY, it has a highly replayable multiplayer...
As much credit as I give the UFC for bringing MMA into the mainstream, I don't think that means they have the sole right to make a game about it. As long as EA uses their own fighters, I don't see the problem. What about using WEC fighters?
UFC really doesn't have room to talk though. They sell out just as much as anyone. Look at their tv show. Look at Brock Lesner - he totally didn't earn his title. He had four fights, won 3, Coture and Mir are both over the hill, and Henderso...
Probably wasn't going to get around to playing this game until next year anyways. I usually buy exclusives first, multi-platforms second.
I really think they need to release more titles during the summer, or at least some network games. I think all the studios are counting on new console owners to buy their games during the holiday season, but it just seems pointless owning a console during the summer. The last good game I played was inFAMOUS.
And at least I will get a full game that warrants paying 60$!
Unless you missed out on all the DLC I can hardly see this being worth 60$. They need to break it up so people can just by it in portions or something. A horde mode and a SP campaign? C'mon, who knows if the SP will even be any good?
Brock Lesnar has no technique and he is 15 lbs heavier than Mir - FACT!
He only had to fight like 3 people before they named him champ, there are plenty of fighters that have paid there dues and deserve and champ bout, yet they were all overlooked because good ol brocky boy sold more tickets.
And just who did Lesnar fight? Mir and Coture are both over the hill, and Heath Herring was a nobody who filled in at the last sec. Brock lesnar didn't earn his title.
Well, we all know its not because of Google's new os.
Even in this poor economy, the gaming industry is still thriving. Sure, a few studios are going under, but they released terrible games. I mean, look at Atari, is it any wonder they lost their stock listing?
Point is, the gaming industry is still showing signs of growth, I just think it is less forgiving, especially to devs. that turn in terrible games.
