@ricosuave,
Pretty rich of you to tell a man to go steal corndogs, I bet you'll never be as suave a burglar using that logic.
Are negative articles based on speculation being written too early?

I may be a minority voice on this, but I was happy that we are getting a part two as opposed to new characters in the same universe. My excitement is coupled by the fact that Naughty Dog has never let me down. Even if it is not as good as the original, you know it will be a standout game. My only fear is how long we will have to wait to play this.
Wipeout? Is it too soon to say Hallaluyeer?
That's my whole contention about Xone, I can't justify buying a system with Gears/Halo/Forza as the main exclusive offerings, and of the three, only two I care about as I'm not a fan of racing sims.
I agree on all points Cindy-rella. Microsoft getting trampled this gen has been good though because they have upped their game. I am looking forward to the end product, not the hype train surrounding paper specs. Not that the Scorpio will not be a beast of a machine, it's just that Microsoft tends to trump up tech talk only to under deliver and that's real talk.
Lets hope!
Competition is good, glad they are doing well, I sold my Xbox one to make room for the Scorpio. I own a PS4 and have the Pro on order to tide me over till then.
We all know the Scorpio will be a beast of a machine but let's hope the price won't match the power.
The only problem with your criticism is that had Sony made the system you described above it would cost a lot more that 400.
You are right they could have waited to launch alongside the Scorpio but then they wouldn't have a system that would maximize the PSVR experience. Additionally, they have a new launch for the coming holidays and will make a killing with those that were waiting to buy the PS4.
No hate here more like paid in pre-ordered full, BOOM!!!
But honestly, these console wars are beyond asinine. As gamers, should we really care what someone's preferred system is? If you want to wait till the Scorpio drops over a year from now, more power to you (pun intended), but there is no need to shite on the PS4 Pro because you decided to wait it out, a whole year. This is akin to people getting all contorted over whether the Mac is better than the PC or the iPhone...
Naughty Dog at their full potential, now if that is not an endorsement for the Pro I don't know what is!
Much crisper visuals and that is on an SDR 4K screen in other words, not HDR enabled. There is so much negativity out on the PS4 Pro. I don't get it. I for one can not wait to have the Pro sitting on my entertainment center. A 3X more powerful PS4 system for the same launch price, that will enhance the PSVR and some existing/future games , to me that is a no-brainer.
I am so over the rabid fanboyism, you are team Xbox, team PC, team PS who cares–I love video games no ...
Discussing the differences between the Pro and Scorpio is like talking about who's going to win in an MMA fight but only one fighter shows up. One key component that keeps getting left out of the conversation or minimalized at best is the fact that those who buy the Pro will be able to enjoy games with 4K visuals more than a full year ahead of the competition. The holdouts will be waiting for a system that is still just a concept on paper. Not trying to throw shade on the Scorpio, but we ...
Pre-ordered it today and don't care that MS has a better system coming (on paper at the moment, non-existent for at least another year btw). Sony exclusives at their maximum output, Naughty Dog games at their highest fidelity, enough said.
I'm also looking forward to the Scorpio and will pre-order it as well, once more info is released, so what is all the fuss about? Buy them both!
I guess it is time to invest in a new TV
Agreed, this was my issue as well. I so want to get this game but I was so frustrated even though I know it is just a beta, I'm going to have to see raving reviews before I purchase it now.
The headline should read, "Forbes Articles about Gaming, the Most Ridiculous Attempt at Gaming Journalism of all Time"
Either the boy will be killed which will fuel his thirst for bloody revenge or the boy will witness his father's death and that will ... well, you get the idea. Either way, I look forward to this new take. Looks amazing, and lets be honest, it is a must buy whether you are a fan of the series or not.
It is only "damage control" if there were damage done. We've seen the gameplay clips, we've played the multiplayer beta, there is no doubt about it, the game is going to be amazing plot holes and all.
This game is going to rock, anyone with a PS4 that would choose to miss out on this because of overt or covert feminist or LGBTQ+ themes... Well, I just say it's your loss.
