You do know that the Christian church is made up of many different denominations? Some are much more stricter and intolerant than others.
You do know that Microsoft owns the rights to Halo and Bungie doesn't. I think the only IP Bungie actually owns is Marathon.
Too Human is going to be like Diablo in some ways so that's why I'm stoked for this game. ^_^

Halo 3's campaign is no where near boring but you do have to do some back tracking on some of the levels. But what game isn't linear? (except for maybe MMOs on Sandbox games and simulations). You always have to get to point A to point B somehow.
I myself loved this campaign. Heck, I even loved the second to last level even though everyone said it was the worst.
Lets leave politics out of this.
I who have tons of friends would rather not have this feature put into the game. I don't like the idea of random people barging into my custom games when I have my custom games purposely open for other reasons. (one being that I don't have to send party invites to all my friends and they can come in whenever they want)
Bungie was apart of the Mac group until Microsoft bought them.
