If they added a campaign or career mode where you get your license and progress as a pilot then perhaps it could be classed a game but as it stands, it's a pure simulation. Simulators normally don't win GOTY.
The whole point of raytracing is to provide the next-gen of graphics. New architecture has to be able to allow new graphical features otherwise the consoles will effectively just be more powerful versions the PS4/XB1.
Not sure how they can massively improve it over what was shown in the launch trailer after such a short delay. They need alot more time to make it worthwhile unless they just increased all the settings to max and called it a day..
Seems quite high if it's going to require tons of streaming of map data. However if it is playable offline then that 127GB is not bad at all.
The PS5 is basically a more powerful PS4 since they both use the x86 architecture. It's going to have PS4 BC by default so no surprise there.
The problem with this flat style design is that the heatsink cannot be tall but instead has to be wider/flatter. Usually lower height pc coolers are not very good. I reckon XBX will be cooler due to the box design.
What were they thinking when choosing the size of this thing. Did they decide to make it HUGE to compensate for the weaker cpu/gpu? Ridiculous.
Real or not, this actually looks nice as a console design. Prefer it over both the Xbox or PS5.

The drive has to be pcie 4.0 to match the stock nvme drive's speeds hence why they will issue a list. Otherwise people may buy older pcie 3.0 drives and then wonder why games are stuttering.
What Sony dropped the ball is on the GPU since it has only 36CU's which is the same as the AMD 5600XT and that card is mainly for 1080P gaming. Even my 5700XT with 40CU'smax clocked to 2.2GHz cannot achieve 4k/60 so I doubt Sony can do it without upscaling. Amazing that they did not target 4k60fps especially when RT is coming in to popularity.

All pc GPU's have variable clocks so PS5 is no different. Only MS decided to lock the clockspeed but that just makes it inefficient since it will be using power even in less demanding scenes and outputting more heat.
5700XT is around the same for $100 cheaper

Microsoft didn't learn a thing from the Xbox One always online debacle. They obviously want everyone to accept a subscription model like their Office365 products. I will pass on this like every other gaming subscription idea. The death of the Xbox brand is imminent if they keep insisting on this.
These are supposed to be leaked Nvidia slides so not exactly bullcrap if genuine. I'm sure Nvidia would only create slides with their best working drivers. Unlikely that any release driver would push the fps much higher.
I've been playing Horizon Zero Dawn on PC for the last couple of weeks and can honestly say it's one of the greatest games I've played. The storyline, the graphics and gameplay are all top notch which keep you hooked. I would recommend everyone plays this amazing work of art.
