these game consoles we have now won't have the longevity as traditional game consoles. Hell right now the hardware is already out of date on these two consoles. And developers are beginning to have to scale back graphic wise just to reach 1080p @30fps not even 60 for most games.

and if you buy it on a platform which is a lesser version? How does that account for the quality of a consoles library when you are not getting the full experience? If i buy Rise of the tomb raider on Xbox 360 does it count when it obviously is not the full experience like it would be on Xbox one? Or Persona 5. if i buy that for PS3 would that count even though its not the full experience like it would be on PS4?

how do they factor in? multi-platform games are on multiple platforms. So how does it boost the "Quality" of the line-up? When i could just go to another platform and play it on that?
about the only special case would be if this was on PC. since on PC obviously has the better graphics, framerate, resolution, mods, and overall just a much better experience then playing a multiplatform game on console. If i could a much better experience elsewhere the games available...

Exclusives are what matters. Multiplats i could play on any platform or obviously PC which is the best place to play them on because mods, graphics, better performance/gameplay, etc.
