James Bond? Facepalm
@ChronoJoe
Except there is the big difference in the fact that there is not VoIP, messages, etc while you play. That is a big factor.
Now, it IS absolutely phenomenal how they got it right, don't get me wrong,it is practically PERFECT, but it is not fair to talk about the competition.
It's not about downplaying it, it is about being fair to all games on any console or PC that gets it right. It's ok to celebrate this...well actuall...
Devs don't, but publishers do. Like putting embargos on reviews. That is the power they have.
I'm loving Smash, but come on! This is ridiculous. The 3DS had a pretty bad online launch (my 3DS was crashing even) so it was expected that the WiiU version had a smooth launch.
That's how it happens most of the time. If you want to talk about smooth online from scratch, Mario Kart is a better choice, but even that, the online components within the game are way less complex (no voice over IP, cross-talk, messages, etc).
I'm not bashing the WiiU, ...
That is what we ALL need to do. We should stop preordering copies, even if the company is known for quality, we should just change the tide on this because we are partially at fault in here.
The preorder numbers are a big deal to companies and they would never want to lose those numbers by delaying games.
We cannot keep accepting games with missing features, missing content, game breaking bugs, day 1 patches, etc
BRA-VO!
Genius review!
I've been pretty vocal about how underwhelmed i was from the E3 demo and I have my fingers cross in this new demo and hoping that it will blow me away.
Looking like a sir and using a "sir-like" weapon :P
Yeah, I will be killing monsters like a sir with that.
I've just played it and actually thought it was better than LBP2. The platforming options are more varied and interesting because of the new characters. I skipped LBP2, but I think I will be getting 3.
I agree, but that's the thing. I already have played Deus Ex (was given for free to PS plus users) and the mass effect trilogy a while ago, so why would I spend money on those when I could buy a new game. I dont sell games. I have my entire Gamecube, PS3, 3DS, DS, Vita and PSP collection here and will not sell it, so if I want to play Mass Effect, i can just grab it from my shelf and play on it PS3.
But, let's say that a new game gets released in all platforms, I woul...
I'm starting to think it's not the WiiU's userbase. It's the mentality behind us owners. Maybe and just maybe its because we see the WiiU as a secondary console to play Nintendo games only that we see those dismal sales and Nintendo is trying to take away that mentality from us with solid games.
I mean, Why would I buy the WiiU's version if I have a PC/XboxOne/PS4 that runs the game better, etc?
They look compressed in you are not watching them Full Screen.
If you share the pics on facebook, the picture looks compressed, but if you select the "Full Screen" option within facebook, you can see them looking all nice.
I don't care about Halo, but I FULLY agree on such low scores to games that are being shipped with broken pieces.
This can't keep going on and it shouldn't be tolerated. No tolerance for s*** like Driveclub or AC: Unity.
When I went to the E3 and the Devs showed the in game footage of the game, I was so sure that the game was going to be great that seeing all this love for it makes me feel great.
I actually mentioned to the devs (since I was blown away by the gameplay) if maybe they could tackle other monsters like Krueger, Jason, Myers, etc.
@Metallox
Yeah, it's not a bad thing, but I personally crave for something more sometimes. It's the same with movies.
Sometimes I just want Mindless action and don't care for story and some other times and want amazing stories and no action.
Well, thank god for variety then, because Metroid has dialogue, voices and a complex story and I wouldnt want to be in a world without such games like Metroid or Metal Gear that have a lot of emphasis on story and dialogue + all the great things about gaming you mentioned.
Exactly the reason why most Nintendo games lack in the story department. They are all extremely simple and overused stories. The only exception to this rule is Metroid and it's unfortunate how the abandoned the franchise.
@Cream
You don't need to read Oschino1907 comment.
It's one of those comments of someone who just assume something without even knowing thinking he's better than everyone.
Skip it. It's just a masturbatory thrash comment.
I don't get how are they even talking about DLC when the main game is in such a crappy state.
