so you've been living under a rock since 2013 denying that ps4 was, as you mentioned, the best place to play multiplats. Phil says many things, such as how great Scalebound and Fable are amd how we would get TRUE VR on scorpio, that end up in the air (same happens to every company) so I take PR people's words with a grain of salt, and so should you. Exclusives matter, specially to people that can only afford one console, and in that department, Sony is crushing MS.
they obviously have a deal for anthem
I guess you're not too familiar with the concept of statistics.
ALPHA....you know what that means? It's right there in the title "Alpha Firmware"
sure, the wii u was a beast and the xbo has been gaining momentum since its release according to this site. Now in the real world, they need to keep doing their thing
the exclusive possession or control of the supply or trade in a commodity or service....it is a monopoly...with over 90% of the market share it's legally considered a monopoly...or you don't think they CONTROL thr market...monopoly doesnt mean you are the only one in economics
and what happened to people who bought and xbox one right before the slim was announced...i'm sorry it doesn't make sense....it is the exact same thing...just different conferences
except PC is not MS's platform. Anyone can sell PC games, even on windows os, without paying any royalties. MS sells the OS (80 bucks) and then you can buy whatever you want from any Platform (such as steam, origin, etc). MS only gaming platform on PC is its own store (which is not widely used by the way especially when compared with steam). Some people don't realize that Sony could open their own store (or PLATFORM) like EA, VALVE and MS and start selling their own games. Of course t...
@Lennoxb63 you really don't understand how corporations work right? they don't just give you a budget to do whatever you want. You present a roadmap and detailed plans on what you are going to do and it gets approved.
don't worry we'll get another "best lineup in history" during the holidays. Because we all know hardcore gamers only play games at that time and noone cares about sales.
@septic yes...it IS exactly the same. The whole forward compatibility will work for both for a while, until games are too demanding for the old hardware. Both companies are cutting the gen too short
don't people understand that anyone can sell games on PC without paying any royalties whatsoever to MS. Sony could open their own store (like steam) and sell games on PC. Windows 10 is not MS platform, it's an OS. Or do you really think Steam or any publisher that releases on PC has to pay MS. I'm glad MS is doing this since PC gamers get great games but fanboys don't seem to understand anything
that was as surprising as fifa 17 and cod
I think it's up to each person. I am not a huge fan of playing online games (I play online ocasionally) so I don't buy online only games. But other people only play online so it's worth it for them. This specially applies to hardcore gamers who are perfectly aware of what they are getting, it's not like battlefront was advertised as a single and multiplayer game (or the Tomb Raider reboot was advertised as having multiplayer).
I don't remember the last time a game from a big publisher (ubi, ea) was graphically upgraded. So I would expect a downgrade across the board.
