For starters Hicken, my review says it was good. What I mean is that there are great aspects of the game, including black comedy and art direction. I dont ask you to read my reviews, so if you dont agree with my opinion, shape up and move on.
That is an above average rating that I beleive Shadows of the Damned deserves. I will stick with what I said and say that I DID enjoy it, and that it is worth a go. But with the number of flaws that I encountered, Shadows of the Damned is not an amazing game, but, at the most, great. Like I've continued to say, it is my opinion, something that everyone is entitled to. So Im sorry that Im not jumping on the band-wagon, and giving this game an epic score, just because others think different...
Dude its my opinion, not as a "jaded European" as you put it, but as a passionate gamer. I thought that Shadows of the Damned was a great game. But Im not going to give it an epic score when I dont beleive it deserves it. I write reviews as a journalist for one reason; to give an accurate opinion for anyone who maybe skeptical in buying a game. Everyone may not agree, and obviously you don't. Im just happy that this turn out to be nothing more than a malicious rumour. Sony and its fans have been through crap over the last month, and the last thing we want is more bad news.

For those of you that commented on the multiplayer rating of this review, we at push-start have responded by categorising our star-rating, between games with multiplayer and games that don't.
Therefore our reviews will not give the impression of criticizing games that do not have multiplayer, which was never the case in the first place. Now any games that do not have multiplayer (Thor: God of Thunder in this instance) will not have a rating for multiplayer, as it is not ...
I totally agree, Multiplayer is not required to make a good game, and there are numerous examples that backs that up. But I beleive that we mention Multiplayer, to review such game modes, we can see how its implemented to the game itself, otherwise we'll simply say it doesnt have it.
Perhaps if there was a way that we could have a "N/A" option in regards to multiplayer, considering that its not an essential feature.
