Melee weapons have been confirmed already. Maybe we can dual wield with them too.
wow, thats just wrong..
Should i label this as rumor instead?
I was really surprised to read such a statement aswell!
Throughout the interview Kawata repeats to clarify what ORC is.
Still its set in the Resident Evil universe and if done well it could shed some more light on the backstory.
Us Horror fans can only hope for Revelations or RE6..
What a mess, now there's two stories approved for the same thing.
A shame this is being overseen...
I cant belive thats true.. Some lines in the statement are ridiculous, its really badly written to be from someone at Konami.

old news.
This is the real thing and its not getting approved. :[
This is old news! The original story is here: http://www.fpstime.com/2010... and was posted on april 14th already. Why did that even get approved.
the original story was posted on march 30th, thats way too early for an april fools don't you think? I talked with the original poster and he assured me it has nothing to do with April fools.
Right after the description it says this:
"Spoilers Inside and also swearing—you’ve been warned."
So?
EDIT: oh sorry, in the title? do i really need to put the spoiler warning into the title?
I simply didn't want to translate the whole interview so i just picked out this part, the rest isn't that much worth of a mentioning anyway.
Sometimes GamePro puts their print magazine articles online aswell, not this time though, my scanner is not working, but here's the cover of the mag i am holding my hands incase someone's curios for a link:

I agree that the "too much horror" argument is not correct, however personally found Dead Sapce to be quite scary. The audio alone does that imo.
I was surprised too, but GameFront is in this business since 1995 (even if they lack to go with the time) and their news reports never proofed me wrong.
This is the full newspost in german:
