Couldnt make it happen on the Best Buy desktop site, but was successful with the app on my phone. Took almost an hour. Was able to add to the cart within a few tries. Moving on to the checkout page took some time. Getting to the payment page and the final place your order page took the longest. Maybe 6 min after midnight PST order placed and confirmed.
Ill always purchase physical media. I love it since I've been gaming since the 8-bit NES days. I also love manuals and hate how they are not coupled with physical media. One reason why I loved the Witcher 3 is because it came with that instruction manual. Ahhhh the smell of flipping pages!! lol
Maybe its the character's stories really contributing to the entire game mixed with the graphics and gameplay. I thoroughly enjoy the game. How you felt about Uncharted is how I felt with Tomb Raider.
Uncharted 4. I'll take the entire Uncharted series over the entire Tomb Raider reboot series. There are some things I enjoyed playing Tomb Raider, but I could play Uncharted 4 two-three times a year and not get tired of it. Dislikes, go...
Goldeneye then Everything or Nothing for me.
Favs are Goldeneye of course and I loved Everything or Nothing.
Instead of voicing my perspective and opinion on the actual footage, this is probably Konami testing the waters with the fan base here. In other words, they are playing it safe which is understandable. Hint Hint Konami, Kojima never played it safe. #makemetalgeargreatagain (no I am not voting for Trump, nor Hillary)
Has my interest; looks dope so far. Not sure if it will be worth the purchase for me when it comes down to it, but I look forward hearing more about it.
I am thankful for my job and the promotion I recently received. I can't finish this without saying I am thankful I am no longer in a crazy relationship with my then girlfriend.
Awesome...I finally found one of the games that I loved playing at that time; Fear Effect. For years I could not remember the game's name.
Memories all around
That definitely would be a reason why I wouldn't buy the system, but that is still t be determined.
Power aside, I gather from the rumors that Nintendo is trying to kill a couple of birds with one stone. I like the concept.
I hope they don't turn the franchise into mobile games. Sure way to alienate fans further.
If they are planning to take the franchise mobile, then yea, there is no way it would be a 3A title.
But if Konami Japan were to "try" to take MG in a new direction with plans to separate from all previous titles as much as possible, what are your thoughts on that?
Im even more excited about The Phantom Pain! I can see Konami Japan trying to come up with a completely new Metal Gear to where they try to absolutely separate from all previous titles as much as possible. This thought comes from thinking about what we know so far about the handling of Kojima. Thoughts on this??
Gamecube was the last Nintendo console I purchased. Was I completely satisfied with it, not really. Sounds like Nintendo needs to do some "restructuring" like Konami. I am interested in what their new console has to offer, but it really seems like they're just playing catch up. Can they do it...we shall see.
Super Castlevania 4 (snes)
Ocarina of Time
Madden 2001
MGS4
The Last of Us
...Still thinking if there were any others...
For Metal Gear to be successful as a mobile genre, Konami would really have to push the envelope. But that is just it; Kojima has pushed and pushed with every title in the series. For Konami to bring the series, or a new series in the MG universe to the mobile platform, it just would not compare nor ever reach the ambitious scales we've seen Kojima reach with each new title in the series even as mobile hardware gets better. You can't just minimize the franchise to bring it to mobile g...
I am really looking forward to this game. Seems like it will be Kojima's (and team) greatest masterpiece.
Hmmm, who knows when I'll purchase another AC. Some aspects from the trailer I like, but not enough for me to make a purchase though they just revealed the game. Really interested in how Ubisoft reconciles the story with the overall picture. Currently the protagonist rallying up gangs to win back London isn't appealing enough.
Woke? What people are ascribing as woke or wokeness today is far from what woke is. Having a lead protagonist that isn't white or isnt straight or isnt male is not woke. Blaming a horrible reception on "woke" reviewers is like blaming a bank for not giving you free money. I cant wait to play this game. I havent played it yet bc I have a huge backlog to get through and Days Gone is part of it. The article mentions that some believe, and Garvin agrees with, that the Last of Us 2 ...
