Well said. Bubbles up to you, sir.
Dude, just no.
When the 360 launched with a thin library, people could play Halo 2 online with their friends while they waited for more games.
You also had Forza Motorsport, Blinx, Mech Assault and a bunch of other titles on the OG Xbox to tide you over while waiting for new games.
If the Xbox One had backwards compatibility I would be playing A TON of games, not to mention considering getting back some games I've sold but felt like playi...
Like the average poor person in China could afford one?
Well said, bubbles.
It seems like the doritocracy is more inclined to create segregation and separation than unity and anti-discrimination in the gaming communities.
They spew a lot of vitriol that seems to want male gamers to resent female gamers, and a lot of fear-mongering to make female gamers feel unwelcome amongst male gamers.
There's all forms of harassment online (sometimes even female against female) but this whole thing of ant...
So uh... what you're saying is that babies should be dressed in neutral colors so when people see the kid they go "Hey, your son-- uhh daughter--- uhh... whatever it is, it looks cute."
You must be new to N4G.
They're counting smartphone and social games.

Not sure why people are disagreeing.
The indie field has no boundaries. Anyone can make any game they want.
It's always been that way but it's easier now than ever before.
LITERALLY anyone can make a game if they put some time into it.
I guess none of them ever thought that maybe there's just not the same level of interest from one gender over the other when it comes to game design? Ya know, sort of like how du...
WRONG!
Final Fantasy VI (known as FF3 in the States) was considered AAA, so was Chrono Trigger.
Baldur's Gate was considered AAA and it was still sprite-based.
Street Fighter II was most definitely considered AAA, along with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle games.
Top Gear, Sonic and Super Mario were also considered AAA back in the day.
AAA simply refers to the public or mainstream recognition of a brand...
Yeah that all-digital-future doesn't look to great when you start to see your favorite games get taken offline.
Wow, this post was awesome.
Well said.
I also agree that if people are so intent on forcing change, they should start a Kickstarter. The tools are as cheap as they'll ever be and ANYONE can make a game these days with enough time and dedication.
I'm shocked that Anita Sarkeesian didn't use her money to fund a game... I mean, why not?
I'm also shocked a lot of the SJW don't get together and help promote or...
This is very true.
If you go on Steam they have everything from visual novels to point-and-click adventure titles to FPS and racing games, and all things in between.
More than anything, gaming media is to blame for not making audiences more aware of the diversity of games out there.
Thank you for this.
This is correct.
Too bad "game journalists" don't do the kind of research the average gamer does.
Hicken is correct.
It's the reason why Jerry Springer was even a thing.
It's the reason why Fox News has the following it has.
It's the reason why people have a day to remember and memorialize 9/11.
It's the reason why there are wars and it's the reason why there will never be peace.
Before games existed, violence was still king.
They'll probably sell more consoles in China than in Japan.
Great post.
But if the Wii U can run Cry Engine 3 I'm not worried it can run Unreal Engine 4, just disappointed Epic is acting like EA about the whole thing.
I loved this game.
lol... there's no such thing as "bullshots" for Project CARS since the community have provided all the screenshots and videos. Even the video above is from a member of the community.
Different members have different PC setups, so of course some of the screenshots and trailers will look better than others.
Since the game is crowd-funded the gamers who pledged their money are the ones doing the PR and marketing for the game. It's quite brill...
Don't we all play games everyday without the majority of us dying?
Do we really need to let people know we don't kill people before or after playing games some 20 hours a week?
Seems a little melodramatic.
Super Mario 64, Super Mario World, Sonic 3 + Sonic & Knuckles, Ocarina of Time, F-Zero, General Chaos, Chrono Trigger, Out of this World, Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy VII, No One Lives Forever, Codename: Eagle, Baldur's Gate, Perfect Dark 64, etc., etc., etc.
There are a bunch of games that still hold up even compared to today's standards. This kid must be too young to have played anything from the golden era of gaming.
