They disagree yet it's true.
The R9 is all about testing 4K resolutions maxed out and aiming for 60fps. The next top-end card will max out 4k at close to 120fps, so technology has far exceeded the limitations of what some people think will be required to emulate Xbox 360 games.
How is Valve struggling to keep SteamOS relevant when they haven't even released it yet?
Seriously? Dooming and glooming on something still being tested?
Wow.
They need to announce it soon.
Well, if it got patched that's pretty good. Still, the resolution and framerate issues were enough to get me to wait for the PC version.
I'm sorry but ACIV on XB1 had HORRIBLE framerate stutter and a lot of effects issues. It really didn't look gorgeous on both. It did look gorgeous on PC and PS4, though.
I had to ask a friend if he was really playing the next-gen version and not the 360 version upscaled. I couldn't believe they let it out of the door with that kind of FPS instability.
Dang, that's a good line-up strategy.
A winning formula indeed. They'd just need a good showing at E3 and some strong marketing to keep the Wii U present in the minds of consumers.
This is correct.
It moved more than 590k copies in Japan.
Or greed

I was going to end the comment there, but I also would like to point out that a whole bunch of indie games on Steam have local co-op and split-screen. So it's not a developer decision at all given that indie games are on a smaller budget but still offer split-screen + online co-op/competitive modes. Disappointing...
Yeah but gaming media was too busy stroking that Nintendo-hate schlong to pay attention to real news.
Yeah bro, where did Sony say no? I thought they were all about the indie thing.
Starbound and a bunch of other indies are coming to the PS4, I don't see why DayZ can't.
WOW. Great article. Well-written. Great counter-points.
Thank you for not being idiots like the rest of gaming media!
It's a matter of opinion though.
900p at 30fps looks good for some people, where-as 1080p at 60fps looks better for most people.
So you bought into a promise for $500?
You could have gotten a PC and got everything you needed for that price.
@MELMAN26
No, NO it does not.
Can you manage your hard drive space on the XB1 like you can on the PS4? NO!
Can you modify system settings and control schemes on the XB1 like the PS4? NO!
Can you hook up any bluetooth device to the XB1 like you can the PS4? NO!
Can you run most multi-plats at 1080p at 60fps on the XB1 like the PS4? NO!
Can the XB1 boot up as fast as the PS4? NO!
(proof...
Dang, I remember these defense lists back in 2007 whenever the PS3 was getting stomped in sales.
Never change N4G... never change.
"small user base"
But it's larger than the Xbox One at the moment.
Seriously people, do you even read what you type before you attempt to troll?
lol but the Wii U has more consoles in homes than the PS4 and Xbox One.
If Ubisoft canceled Watch Dogs for the Wii U they better cancel it for the XB1 as well, since the Wii U has 2 million more consoles in homes than the XBox One.
Please, please Steam Machines... you must come sooner. I cannot wait!
LOL, dude it doesn't matter.
Polygon is supposedly anti-Xbox.
All of NeoGaf is apparently pro-Sony.
Cinemablend is anti-Xbox.
Reddit is apparently anti-Xbox.
Gamefaqs is somehow anti-Xbox.
It never ends. If you report anything negative about the XB1 (and there's a lot) you're instantly labeled as anti-Xbox.
You must not like Titanfall either?
