Don't forget that MS bought Bungie. Basically because Bungie ran themselves bankrupt trying to develop Halo for too long. And MS came in and bought them up. And changed what Halo was quite a bit but at least it came out.
Later on Bungie freed themselves from MS and became independent again. However MS still retains the rights to the Halo franchise.

Why Bungie would sign a deal with Activision is a mystery to everyone but the top guys at Bungie. But hopefully they ...

For example my Starcraft 2 preorder was shipped 6 days in advance in order for it to be delivered to my door at release day.

I loved Burnout Paradise. The only game I have gotten 100% on. Their games always felt very smooth and fluid, kinda important in driving games.

Anyway I wonder if they are pushing for the social integration to stave off piracy.

But NFS Hot Pursuit (3 I suppose) should be very good.

For 1 it's a continuation of the imho best NFS games Hot Pursuit 1/2. And 2 it's being created by Criterion who are responsible for the Burnout series.

I don't think it's bribery. It's more so that the journalists there can review the new slim asap so that it gets a lot of press quickly. AND.. Maybe just maybe.. They don't want to see all the negative articles each time a review site gets another RRoD... So they give a good cool (temperature vise) slim that hopefully won't break down.

Well in sweden you can't really rent games. There is some market for the PS3 games but fairly non-existant for the 360 games.

And pirates who have been banned.. Well they still have that 360. So you can have one banned 360 to play pirated single player games and a non-modded 360 to play multiplayer/coop games on.

The slowdown only happened in 3'rd person spectator (theater ?) mode where it was zoomed out and it viewed a large zone.

Some of this has been possible for a long time. You have been able to remove the HDD from the casing and modify the data as you wished for a long time. Like using modified save games to get gamescore or pirating arcade games. However with USB devices it would ofcourse be much easier. But I don't think they will figure out any new ways to exploit just because it will be easier to transfer the data.

Why isn't Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2 on that list ? They certainly have been in development a lot longer then a measly 3 years.

I don't think any of the exclusives will sell the most. Simply for the fact that they only have half the market to sell to.

But if we are including PC games then yeah SC 2 will be a strong contender. You know the South Koreans are just crazy about SC so they will have strong sales over there to add to the EU+US market.
